Our Trust
AN INTRODUCTION
We introduce ourselves as a not for profit organization
working in the field of education. Our Trust NOPANIANS
EDUCATIONAL & SERVICES TRUST (NEST) is a not for profit
organization that’s based out of Kolkata and established in
2015.
It was started by the alumnus of Shri Daulatram Nopany
Vidyalaya (now known as Nopany High) with this belief that
every child deserves to get an excellent education irrespective
of his caste, creed, religion or financial status.
NEST aims to ‘Enlighten with Knowledge’ the lives of various
groups through facilitation of education to children from
economically weaker section and “educationally
disadvantaged” marginalized sectors of the society.

Our vision is to provide a minimum basic
education to each and every children of India
irrespective of Caste, Creed, Financial Status, and
Gender so that it prepares them to navigate through
a dynamic and connected 21st century world.
We want to do this in a way which will
make the children to be a fiscally
self independent and self reliant.

Why We Do It ?
Now that most of us are reasonably established in life, it's our
turn to sit back, ponder and give back to the society in whatever
little way we can.
We have given scholarship to many meritorious students from
LIG section of the society and those needs to be routinely
funded for their sustained education.
We have joined hands with like minded people, friends and
associates to do our bit for the society which we have not been
able to do individually due to scare resources, time and ideas.

Where Proceeds Go ? NEST aims to ‘Enlighten with Knowledge’ the lives of various groups through
facilitation of education to children from economically weaker section and
“educationally disadvantaged” marginalized sectors of the society. Our major funds
are used to give scholarships to meritorious and needy students from the lower
income group of the society. The support is in the form of monthly scholarships,
payment of school fees, purchase of school books or payment of tuition fees for
pursuing higher studies.
NEST supports non formal schools for street children from marginalized sectors for
their various requirements like safe & clean drinking water, stationeries, winter
garments. We also depute specialized teachers for improved performance.
NEST also contributes to various other causes. We conduct annual Blood Donation
camps jointly with Command Hospital, Lions Club & Project Life Force. We also
support few other orphanages, old age homes and after hour schools. We had
donated Food, Clothes, Bed Sheets, School Bags etc. as per requirement.

Supporting the Nation during SOS situations
NEST always comes forward in times of national emergencies. We distributed food
kits & Mosquito Nets to the needy during Kerala Flood & Cyclones. During Corona
Pandemic, we distributed food kits, medicines, masks to the needy and poor. We also
provided Oxygen refilling & Oxygen Concentrator to them.
Most of our fund raising have been on case to case
basis as and when required. We have recently
started annual fund raiser where each member
contributes Rs.1100/- yearly.

NEST is spreading wings and off late have been
receiving corporate funds for our welfare activities.
Soon we will approach corporates with projects for
their CSR funds.

OUR NON FORMAL SCHOOL PROJECT
NEST has been taking care of various educational requirements of this non-formal, non-
government aided school which has approximately 100 students from the locality who are
from the lowest strata of the society. We have appointed 6 teachers to take care of the quality
of education. We have been continuously helping them to improve the infrastructure and
systems at the school.
WE ARE AIMING TO MAKE IT A MODEL PROJECT FOR US. IMPROVEMENTS ARE ONGOING.
