The document provides an annual planning report for SAEINDIA-ITER for the 2015-2016 academic year. It summarizes the club's activities from the previous year and outlines the action plan and team structure for the upcoming year. Key points include dividing responsibilities among 4 teams, selecting team leaders, preparing for the Virtual BAJA and Formula Student India competitions, and providing workshops on automobiles. The goal is to enhance student knowledge of automotive engineering through various educational and competitive events.
This is the seminar report on the topic Nuclear fusion and its prospects as a future source of Energy. You can also look for the slides that I've published by the same title.
Presentation made during the SAE Mini-BAJA 2009 competition. The objective was to prove the mass manufacturing capability of the ATV primarily, designed and manufactured by students.
The method described in this presentation is just one way of pulling the build off, mostly based on what my team did. There is no doubt that there might be better ways. The purpose of this presentation was for the newbies to see how the various mechnicals come together, their relative proportions, sizes, positions, layouts, etc.
Also, I shall carry out corrections and revisions from time to time, so that more information can be passed on effectively to successive BAJA aspirants.
•SAE Baja is an Inter-colligate off road racing competition where the top engineering colleges in India successfully fabricate and race there all-terrain vehicles.
•The competition has various automotive giants like Mahindra, General motors etc. powering the event.
•The contest challenges each team to function as a firm whose objective is to design, fabricate, market and race off their vehicles that would be evaluated on a variety of manufacturing angles by various professionals from the sponsoring automotive companies.
E-360 Economics Club strives to educate and enable students to learn by DOing. At E-360 Economics Club we believe that the real learning for a student lies beyond the four walls of a classroom. Students can gain meaningful knowledge and skills only when they take initiatives and get hands on experience in the real world. This platform enables students to equip themselves in the best possible way to live their dream career.
In this program, as you transform through exercises from paper to action, you will bring a different leadership perspective to your professional as well as personal life. Whether you are student, faculty or professional, the aim is to imbibe passion and confidence in you with a touch of team work, which will help you and your organization to achieve success.

In the academic session 2015-16, SAEINDIA-ITER had a record breaking
membership registration of 168.The membership of the old members was
renewed in the month of March 2014 which is valid till 31st
March 2015. Now, the
club successfully continues with a total strength of 221 members from various
branches of ITER.
During the academic session 2013-14, SAE INDIA-ITER carved a niche for itself
with events of high quality a detailed report of which is presented below.
SEMINAR
To create a publicity and awareness among students to join SAE, the club decided
to reach out to students with the help of a seminar.
The seminar was the 1st
event of SAEINDIA—ITER in the 2013-14 session. It was
addressed and attended by Prof. (Dr.) R K Hota, the additional dean of ITER and
the faculty advisors.
The program was held in the BANSURI GURU Auditorium which was carried
forward by Vineet Dash. The seminar was a huge success for us.
ACTION PLAN OF SAEINDIA-ITER FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION
2015-16:
In order to run the group effectively and systematically, the faculty advisor,
chairperson and Vice-chairperson of SAE-ITER decided to divide the group into 4
teams. These teams are as follows:
1. Event Management and Internal Affairs Team
2. Membership Team
3. Publicity, Newsletter and Website Management Team
4. External Affairs Team
4. 4
These teams would report every week on their progress on particular days as per
the schedule given to them, it is the duty of the secretary and the Vice-
Chairperson to collect it from them and produce it in front of the faculty advisor
on every Friday of each week.
FUNCTIONS OF EACH TEAM:
Event Management and Internal Affairs Team:
This team would look after the organization of events and supervise the classes of
the club in ITER. The team is scheduled to report the attendance of students,
curriculum of studies in classes and event planning and execution.
Membership Team:
This team is responsible for maintaining the records of the members, their test
records and to setup members’ working guidelines. Any problem among the
members has to be reported by this team.
Publicity Team:
There is a huge aspect of publicity required for the club to prosper in the college
and to be recognized in the eastern region. This team’s work is to do all kinds of
publicity works such as publishing notices, posters etc. This team has to be in
contact with all other teams, so that there is sync in the system.
The other aspect of this team is to maintain the college SAE website, whose work
is in progress. Once the website is launched, it would be the sole responsibility of
this team to take care of it.
The social networking pages of SAE-ITER such as the one in Facebook is to be
controlled by this team and share it on other public forums.
External Affairs Team:
The purpose of this team is to maintain relationship with other colleges and
companies, and to get offers of organizing events. This team is also responsible
for the sponsorship for events such as BAJA for this year and other such events.
5. 5
SELECTION OF TEAM LEADERS:
Selection of team leaders for each team was made on the basis of the team
member’s experience, ideas, ability to handle a task and take the right decisions
for the team’s well-being.
For the Event Management and Internal Affairs Team:
Nitikesh Sahu(Chairperson, SAE-ITER) and Sulagna Rakshit(Vice-Chairperson, SAE-
ITER) were decided to be the team leaders of this team since they have a better
experience of organizing events and managing classes for the fresh members of
SAE-ITER.
For the Membership Team:
Suchi Singh (Student Treasurer, SAE-ITER) was decided to be the team leader of
this team since he has a better experience of maintaining the records and
databases of the members of SAE-ITER.
For the Publicity and Website Management Team:
The team leader of this team needed to be very creative, innovative and idealistic.
Such kind of a person was difficult to be found out from a list of so many
members. So, the Chairperson and the Vice-Chairperson decided to conduct a test
to select the team leader for this team.
The test was a case study in which the members of SAE-ITER where given a
situation and they were to find out a suitable solution to tackle the situation.
For the External Affairs Team:
Aklant Das was selected as the team leader of this team since he has a better
experience of dealing with other colleges, companies and maintaining good
relationships with them.
The BAJA-2016:
Along with the management of club activities inside the college, SAEINDIA-ITER
also preparing for the Virtual BAJA-2016; a national event organized by SAEINDIA
where teams from different collegiate clubs participating in the event have to
design an All-Terrain Vehicle as per the rulebook of BAJA SAE and give a
