Motivation is quite essential everywhere and not only in the business sectors. It is one of the major determinants( you haven’t identified your article yet) of the business future both internally and externally.( is this your opinion or from the author )Businesses engage in their activities because of two motives that are, internal motives and instrumental motives. The internal motive is where the business tries to succeed inside hence coming up with inherent benefits that are only evident by the business organization fraternity. On the other hand, instrumental motives try to look at the general relation between the business and the outside world especially the customers (Wrzesniewski and Schwartz, July 4, 2014). Motivation is of importance everywhere, and businesses are not an exception, in this case, motives behind success can be either instrumental or internal. The mix of motives consisting of both instrumental and internal are all-important and favorable for the success of a business. A business can do well if it has the desire to discover more in the market and hence achieve better things in the society, however; it is irrefutable that a business will do better if it has the motivation of both discovering more and having a good customer relation. Good customer relation will mean that positive customer feedbacks when the services rendered to them are significant will motivate the business owners even more and hence the urge to impress more customers ( Wrzesniewski and Schwartz, July 4, 2014). That is all about motivation; it is the drive to achieve better results considering the achievements. The importance of motivation both in one's personal life and to the organization, in general, is great. According to the business press journal being analyzed, we tend to argue that publication based on instrumental motives are often asset-less and can at times be counterproductive for the success of a business.( need to cite) For example from the analysis taken from the human perspective, the New york times analyzed data that was taken from 11,320 individuals who were recruited to join the cadets in the nine entering classes in the military of the United States.(need citation)This number was composed of people having different motivations or rather motives behind joining the cadets.
