number, and chief characteristics.
Often,configuration pertains to the choice of
hardware, software, firmware, and
documentation.” The process of setting
a network's controls, flow and operation to
support the network communication of an
organization and network owner. ”

3.  A router is a networking device that
forwardsdata packets between
computer networks. Routers perform the
traffic directing functions on the Internet. A
data packet is typically forwarded from
one router to another router through the
networks that constitute an internetwork
until it reaches its destination node.

5.  1) Download Cisco CP V2.5
 2) Start > Programs > Cisco Configuration
Professional and choose
the Community which has the router you
want to configure.

8.  Router Configuration to Run Cisco CP
 Connect to your router using Telnet, SSH, or
through the console.
Enter global configuration mode using this
command:
Router(config)#enable
 Create a user with privilege level 15:
Router(config)# username <username>
privilege 15 password 0 <password>
Router(config)#

9.  (Optional) Enable local logging to support the
log monitoring function:
Router(config)# logging buffered 51200

11. Choose Configure > Interface Management > Interfaces and
Connections > Create Connection

16. Configure > Interface Management > Interfaces and
Connections > Edit Interfaces/Connections

17.  Configure > Router > NAT > Basic NAT and
click Launch the selected task

24.  Configure > Router > Static and Dynamic
Routing and click Add

26.  Configure > Router > Static and Dynamic
Routing.

Options and click Edit
