The Rotary Club of Geneva presented on plans for a new lakefront playground in Geneva, New York. A nationwide nonprofit will provide resources to support creating a playground space for children. The playground will be located on the lakefront and aims to create a destination for both residents and visitors that fosters community involvement. Several local partners are supporting the project, and over $74,000 of the $100,000 goal has been raised so far. Upcoming steps include completing fundraising, recruiting volunteers, and preparing for a build day this fall.

The Foundation looks forward to celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2012 and continuing their impactful work in the community.
