Rooftop water harvesting provides a way to collect and store rainwater falling on buildings. Rainwater is collected from roofs through gutters and down pipes, then directed into underground storage systems like recharge wells or percolation pits. This allows water to seep into the ground and recharge local groundwater supplies. Rooftop harvesting benefits buildings by providing a readily available source of relatively clean water for drinking and other uses from the building's own water table, without relying on external water supplies.
Rooftop rainwater harvesting, a technique of capturing rainwater from roof catchments and storing them in reservoirs, is carried out to conserve fresh water resources. The water accumulated can be saved in containers or sub-surface ground water reservoir through artificial recharging techniques and reused for domestic and other purposes.

Prayas, the word in Sanskrit means making an effort, attempt, try, exercising, and practicing some positive actions for the betterment of individual and the community as well.
Here, in Tenet, “Prayas” is entitled as an interim effort of Tenetians for betterment in professional, educational, cultural and social aspects of life. It includes different training, exercising and performing activities to share the best of a person’s thought with others.
In Prayas, presently we have several agendas like Prayas-1, the “share-your-knowledge” programme, exercising a power-point presentation in every Wednesday by an individual under a senior’s mentorship. This exercise also helps in improving our communication skill. In Prayas-2, “personality development” programme, we conduct language skill building classes for our Tenetians in every Monday evening. Apart from these, we are arranging several cultural activities by individual’s performances under Prayas-1 to enjoy environment with work.
We also have a few more sports activities already started to refresh our body and mind to enhance an overall growth for all of us to come under Prayas very shortly.
Prayas Session : Rain Water Harvesting by Soumalya Nandi
Introduction
• Water is essential for all life of forms on earth-including human, animal and vegetation.
• It is therefore important that adequate supplies of water be developed to sustain such life
• Where there is no surface water, where groundwater is deep or inaccessible due to hard ground conditions, or where it is too salty, acidic or otherwise unpleasant or unfit to drink, another source must be sought.
• In areas that have regular rainfall, the most appropriate alternative is the collection of rainwater, called rainwater harvesting .
This slide show depicts how rainwater harvesting has been accommodated in policy and legislation in India and specifically in the state of Karnataka. It gives example of projects in rural areas and in the city of Bangalore.

The issue of supplying adequate water to meet societal needs is one of the most urgent and significant challenges faced by decision-makers.
Rainwater harvesting is an excellent means of supplementing water for both potable and non-potable purposes.
Rainwater harvesting describes processes in which precipitation that falls on a site is diverted, captured, and stored for use on-site, as opposed to allowing it to run off, evaporate, or infiltrate into the soil.
Using Matlab software we designed a suspension controller for buses. If there is any bump is there then there is a chance for
movement of the seat due to this the passengers feels discomfort .so we reduce the time for the movement of seat less than 5 seconds by using feedback signal.
To reduce the hours of time for charging of Electrical Car, we invented a method called Battery swapping, where user swaps battery with another charged battery in charging station in minutes, we used softwares like Catia, Ansys, Cura to implement solution. A mobile app was also created for the user to get to know where the station is located and for payments as well.
Today transportation sector has facing many problems with conventional vehicles like petroleum and diesel vehicles which release most of the pollutants like CO2 and nitrogen oxide emissions which ultimately have an effect on human health. so to decrease this problem there is the invention of electrical vehicles but to fixed battery EVS the owner of the vehicle should wait for long hours to charge one vehicle and if the vehicle stops in any remote areas then it is difficult to charge the battery. So to reduce this problem and to increase electrical vehicle using the solution is to use autonomous battery swapping stations and producing mobile van technology for charging the vehicle in remote areas this idea ultimately increases EV adoption in the world which leads to having good human health.
This presentation tells about controller design using control systems. we use many methods to design controller .

"Understanding the Carbon Cycle: Processes, Human Impacts, and Strategies for...MMariSelvam4
The carbon cycle is a critical component of Earth's environmental system, governing the movement and transformation of carbon through various reservoirs, including the atmosphere, oceans, soil, and living organisms. This complex cycle involves several key processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, decomposition, and carbon sequestration, each contributing to the regulation of carbon levels on the planet.
Human activities, particularly fossil fuel combustion and deforestation, have significantly altered the natural carbon cycle, leading to increased atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations and driving climate change. Understanding the intricacies of the carbon cycle is essential for assessing the impacts of these changes and developing effective mitigation strategies.
By studying the carbon cycle, scientists can identify carbon sources and sinks, measure carbon fluxes, and predict future trends. This knowledge is crucial for crafting policies aimed at reducing carbon emissions, enhancing carbon storage, and promoting sustainable practices. The carbon cycle's interplay with climate systems, ecosystems, and human activities underscores its importance in maintaining a stable and healthy planet.
In-depth exploration of the carbon cycle reveals the delicate balance required to sustain life and the urgent need to address anthropogenic influences. Through research, education, and policy, we can work towards restoring equilibrium in the carbon cycle and ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.

Characterization and the Kinetics of drying at the drying oven and with micro...Open Access Research Paper
The objective of this work is to contribute to valorization de Nephelium lappaceum by the characterization of kinetics of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum. The seeds were dehydrated until a constant mass respectively in a drying oven and a microwawe oven. The temperatures and the powers of drying are respectively: 50, 60 and 70°C and 140, 280 and 420 W. The results show that the curves of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum do not present a phase of constant kinetics. The coefficients of diffusion vary between 2.09.10-8 to 2.98. 10-8m-2/s in the interval of 50°C at 70°C and between 4.83×10-07 at 9.04×10-07 m-8/s for the powers going of 140 W with 420 W the relation between Arrhenius and a value of energy of activation of 16.49 kJ. mol-1 expressed the effect of the temperature on effective diffusivity.
UNDERSTANDING WHAT GREEN WASHING IS!.pdfJulietMogola
Many companies today use green washing to lure the public into thinking they are conserving the environment but in real sense they are doing more harm. There have been such several cases from very big companies here in Kenya and also globally. This ranges from various sectors from manufacturing and goes to consumer products. Educating people on greenwashing will enable people to make better choices based on their analysis and not on what they see on marketing sites.

1. Ministry of category: Ministry of Water Resources, River Development, Ganga Rejuvenation. Problemcode:#MWR21
Problem statement: Rooftop water harvesting College code:
Team Leader Name : B. Naga Mohan
Introduction:
• Roof water harvesting provides water close to home. In cities there are so many apartments ,complexes, multistoried building
etc..depends on that we discuss our idea here.
• Rainfall is collected as it runs of the catchment area of house roofs or compacted or paved surfaces
• The collected water is transported through a system of gutters and down pipes.
• Roof materials suitable for water harvesting can be of many sorts, depending on technology and natural conditions.
Solutions:
• Due to lack of open space for capturing runoff, is mostly in sub soil storage as ground Water by injecting large amount of rain
water into soil during rains .
• Direct at last one or more these pipes located close to the existing below ground level
• Masonry tank into it through filter.
• In the absence of open well, recharge well could be dug and it is used to store water.
• In house /flat complexes there is not enough space to dig a well, a recharge pit can be made.
Materials used:
• Galvanized iron/ aluminum sheet ,corrugated sheet , cement sheets , asbestos sheets , tiles and slates ,organic roof covering.
Storage facilities:
Ferro cement ,pumpkin tank ,drums, brick tanks, precast tank, plastic tank ,underground tank.
Technology stack:
1.AOSON
2.CSS
3.JAVA
4.ANDROID STUDIO
2. Picture description:
• Here rainfall is coming which falls on building roofs from this we connected the
down pipes the water running down the pipe of building into service wells or
percolation pits.
• Water trickle down the layer of pebbles and boulders designed for underground
filtration on chambers.
• Filtered water flows into either recharge well or the collection chambers.
• With this setup, the buildings can draw water readily from its water table in this
basement, without any shortage in supply.
• This is the way how rooftop water harvesting works.
Dependencies of this rooftop water harvesting:
•Increased availability of relatively clean, reliable and affordable for drinking, domestic
use ,sanitation etc;
•Management of water at house hold level and therefore avoiding water conflicts.
•Possibility of storing water during rainy season and using it during dry season.
•By using this we can easily avoid the water conflicts between two states.
•We protect rivers with out going extinction.
•We decrease the economic matters of country
