Introduction to RPA
4. Mimicking human actions to perform a sequence of steps that leads to a meaningful
activity, without any human intervention is known as Robotic Process Automation
Probots
It follow simple, repeatable rules to process data.
Knowbots
The bots that search user-specified information from the
internet and respond to the user.
Chatbots
The bots that act and respond as virtual agents. They
reply to customer queries in real-time.
5. RPAArchitecture
The architecture of Robotic Process
Automation (RPA) includes
• Application under robotic
process execution
• RPA platform
• RPA execution infrastructure
• RPA tool
• Configuration management

22. Pros and Cons of RPA
PROS CONS
The user can reduce the cost by automating the task with the
help of Robotic Process Automation
The automated task increases unemployment.
It does not require the user to replace the existing systems by
using the virtual workforce.
The complexity of implementation in RPA has decreased
day-by-day.
RPA reduces the rate of errors by eliminating human errors
such as tiredness, and lack of knowledge, etc.
There is no innovative thinking in Robotic Process
Automation.
Deployment of RPA frees up high-value resources to be put
back on the front line to ensure customer success.
The RPA project or system needs regular reconfiguration.
RPA is a technology with the ability to “take the robot out of
the humans.
It is a costly technology as compare to any other technology.

Description Robotic process automation (or RPA) is associate rising
type of business process automation technology supported
the notion of software system robots or artificial
intelligence (AI) workers.
In traditional workflow automation tools, a software
developer produces inventory actions to automatism a
task and interface to the back-end system exploitation
internal application programming interfaces (APIs) or
dedicated scripting language.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) emerges as software
based solution to automate rules-based business processes
that involve routine tasks, structured data and deterministic
outcomes.
