• May arise from “ tools” or “ work place”

• Groups will be given a series of photos.
• Groups to discuss if there is hazard present in the photos.
• Findings will be recorded on the photos.
• Groups will have 20 minutes to discuss and record findings.
• Each group will be called upon to present their findings.

 Listing the tasks of a job is key to managing the risk. Remember to list
non-routine as well as daily tasks!
2. HAZARDS
 Identifying hazards means thinking of all the possible events that could
be dangerous.
3. EVALUATION
 By evaluating the chance of a hazard causing harm, you are assessing
the risk. Think always of the worst case.
4. MEASURES
 Explore all existing measures available to reduce or eliminate these
risks.
5. IDEAS
 You are the best placed to come up with ideas to improve Health &
Safety.
