Risk assessment<br />For our horror project we have to think about every <br />possibility which could go wrong and take the highest pre-<br />cautions to create the best possible film and make the max-<br />imum amount of money to our production. Things which we have<br />to ensure are in place are things whilst filming the two <br />minute sequences that could cause a hazzard to the crew or<br />actors and choices made that may cause a finacial risk. Physical<br />risks include harm to the actors or equipment and company<br />risks are things that could cause harm to the company itself <br />like losing money.<br />Physical risks include:<br />1. Accidents may occur with the cast and crew due to unsafe<br />precautions taken such as wires lose so all the equipment<br />must be stored properly when in use. Also stand in acotors<br />must be ready incase the actors can't work anymore due to <br />injuries. <br />2. The environment we are filming in needs to be safe and<br />if not the right equipment must be taken and used to ensure<br />safety for example no dangerous falls in the ground.The right<br />lighting needs to be ensured aswell to get the best possible<br />filming.<br />3. As the movie is a horror the props could possibly be dangerous<br />so precautions must be made with the props such as knives. We may<br />need to use props that are completely safe for total safety.<br />4. As film makers we need to take into account the weather and <br />if it is appropriate and if the setting is exactly perfect while<br />shooting.If the filming is done over a certain amount of days<br />the weather, props and costumes need to be kept the same.<br /> <br />Finacial risks include:<br />1.The film needs to make a profit so i need to ensure that i <br />target the right audience in a cheap and effective way that really<br />persuades the target audience to buy it and make a profit. Trailers<br />need to show the type of stiry and grip the viewer but not reveal<br />too much about the plot.<br />2. The film needs all the essentials to make it look to the best <br />quality it possibly can. Being on a budget we need to ensure we have<br />all of the essential things and do not go over budget but make the <br />film look to a really high standard.<br />
