Aims * Pupils gain a better understanding of subjects and activities * Assist pupils in choosing GCSE options they are interested in  *  Encourage pupils to try various activities * Show pupils that extra curriculum activities are enjoyable
SMART Objectives * To provide pupils with sessions of rightPath leaving the pupil feel confident about choices and activities after each session. * To rise the average of KS4 Pupils by 10% in the Local Authority average for Level 2 GCSEs grades A* - C by the end of the first year of the program. * Reduce the persistent absence statistics of pupils at schools by 2% after the first year.  * A 25% rise in pupils taking extra curriculum activities available at their School within the first year of the program.
Assumptions Made * Pupils are struggling to choose subjects they really would enjoy. * There is no other way in which pupils are given the opportunity to 'try' the subjects before choosing. * Some above year Pupils or Students agree to volunteer their time to  right Path  sessions .  * Students are willing to 'try' out their subject choices before choosing.  * Schools will facilitate the  right Path sessions on their property grounds.  * Teachers are willing to volunteer after school hours at the drop in sessions.
Measures of Success * (Long Term) Noticeable performance increase in pupils willingness to learn specific subjects. * (Long Term) Analysing attendance records of specific subjects comparing to when 'rightPath' was not introduced. * (Long Term) Coursework meets higher standards. * (Long Term) Increased positive feedback on work * Pupils can be given Questionnaires to complete, conveying their enjoyment of subjects they are involved in. * Better results provided by the Government Education Performance Tables for Secondary Schools in the London borough of Sutton.

  • 2. Aims * Pupils gain a better understanding of subjects and activities * Assist pupils in choosing GCSE options they are interested in * Encourage pupils to try various activities * Show pupils that extra curriculum activities are enjoyable
  • 3. SMART Objectives * To provide pupils with sessions of rightPath leaving the pupil feel confident about choices and activities after each session. * To rise the average of KS4 Pupils by 10% in the Local Authority average for Level 2 GCSEs grades A* - C by the end of the first year of the program. * Reduce the persistent absence statistics of pupils at schools by 2% after the first year. * A 25% rise in pupils taking extra curriculum activities available at their School within the first year of the program.

Assumptions Made * Pupils are struggling to choose subjects they really would enjoy. * There is no other way in which pupils are given the opportunity to 'try' the subjects before choosing. * Some above year Pupils or Students agree to volunteer their time to right Path  sessions .  * Students are willing to 'try' out their subject choices before choosing. * Schools will facilitate the right Path sessions on their property grounds.  * Teachers are willing to volunteer after school hours at the drop in sessions.

Measures of Success * (Long Term) Noticeable performance increase in pupils willingness to learn specific subjects. * (Long Term) Analysing attendance records of specific subjects comparing to when 'rightPath' was not introduced. * (Long Term) Coursework meets higher standards. * (Long Term) Increased positive feedback on work * Pupils can be given Questionnaires to complete, conveying their enjoyment of subjects they are involved in. * Better results provided by the Government Education Performance Tables for Secondary Schools in the London borough of Sutton.
