A beach house in Charlestown, Rhode Island sold on December 29th for $2.75 million, making it one of the top five sales in the area for 2016. The 2,284 square foot home was built in 1997 and had been owned for many years by a federal judge and his wife. The buyer was identified as John C. DiIorio from Pomfret Center, Connecticut. In other Rhode Island real estate news, the largest home sale in Cranston in 2016 was a five bedroom, 4,153 square foot house sold for $710,000. Volunteers are also being sought to help with the annual homeless count on January 25th in Rhode Island.
