• This villa is owned by a family of EIGHT, 4boys, and 2 girls, and the parent
• They always have guests coming at least 3 times a week.
• The living room is the pride of the home
Design Solution
They love Modern design so, I used a light colour scheme, I also used curved sofas to break the
modern edges and a circular rug
• We agreed on Marble and Wood for the accent wall as it adds luxury and Elegance to the living
room
• Teddy bear material and Velvet for the Sofas, It has a Luxurious feel and fits perfectly In the
Living room
• Recessed light of 3200K for warmth and a Homely feel
• Art pieces from @_theguykofo_ to add personality and interest to the Living room

17. Project Overview
This Modern 6 bedroom duplex, Consists of a guest room, 1 Master bedroom, 2 junior master bedrooms, a cinema
room and a Home office
I had fun creating this piece, I was tasked to deliver a modern, minimalist, and functional Home and I hit the bull's eye.
✔I used rough concrete to give visual texture and some brutality for the first-floor facade, and dark grey paint with
white stripes to match the concrete and continuity on the ground floor.
✔ If you notice, all the rooms except the guest room have a private balcony, cool right according to the client's
preference.
✔ The entertainment areas are on both floors, if you look to the right you will see a large terrace and a sitting
area/bar capable of hosting 20 persons
✔ You must be wondering if this type of building fits in Nigeria with the flat roof and open balcony, yes, the roof is
waterproofed and slightly tilted and there are drainage system right beside the balcony doors, that way water doesn't
build up in the balcony or enters the room.
✔ The architecture of this building is Just me tired of boring buildings with pillars (regular traditional buildings), I'm
Interested in Fun, Entertainment, "A liveable and functional house", a vacation home, a welcoming Modern,
Minimalist home, Not a house you show people, but a house you invite people.

Project Overview
Design a green( green is my favourite colour) one-bedroom apartment that wouldn't require me to
go outside for a long time I can also Invite a few of my friends over, and have a working space. The
Male client asked.
This particular project made me think deeply and with some decisive meetings with the client, I
finally came up with some great Ideas.
Design solution
• I, first of all, created a colour palette (green, mint green, dark red, and blue)
• I added a desk and shelf directly opposite the bed for easy movement from the bed to the
desk
• I was initially going for a king-sized bed, but because of the space, We decided on a CIRCULAR
BED because it would be easier to navigate and move around the room.
• THE WALL ACCENT consists of Greenwood columns offset with polished brass ( for Luxury),
Mirrors left and right (to make the space feel bigger) also offset with polished brass, and the
base is a mint green marble slab that runs through the entire width of the room.
• A WET BAR for drinks and hosting friends

The aim is to design a Modern and functional Kitchen and Dining For heavy cooking and
receiving visitors.
• This villa is owned by a family of EIGHT, 4boys, and 2 girls, and the parent
• They always have guests coming at least 3 times a week.
• The Mom and daughters love cooking and baking.
Design Solution
The love modern design so, I designed the kitchen to be seamless, with No handles
• For the Island and the countertop cladding, I used Golden marble and a pop-out Vent, and a
Modern stove.
• In Kitchen, Lighting is one of the most important qualities of a functional Kitchen, I used strip
lights Under the upper shelving and a lot of overhead spotlights.
• They have Lots of visitors which require them to have a WET BAR and we agreed on 2 Large
wine fridges.
• For the Backsplash, I used Marble tile to complement the countertop.
