PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- High Point, a 5.49-acre waterfront estate at 89B South
Arnolda Road, in the Arnolda section in Charlestown, was sold Friday for
$4,025,000 by Lori Joyal of Lila Delman Real Estate International.
This marks the highest sale in Charlestown since January 2008, the agency said.
The circa 1920 residence has 5,424 square feet of living space, including four
bedrooms, six fireplaces, a dock and a boathouse. The property borders Ninigret
Pond.
Joyal, the managing broker of the Delman agency’s Watch Hill office,
represented seller Christina P. Allen. Buyers Kathryne A. and Jeffrey W.
Gardner were represented by Steve McGill of Waterfront Properties.
Arnolda Colony is a private neighborhood that was established as a family
compound in the early 1900s.
