Perfect Storm Media was founded in 2005 with a simple goal in mind; to convert advertising expenses into sales commission on completed sales.
Perfect Storm Media solves 2 major problems in the search engine marketing industry: 1) âPay-per-clickâ pricing and misaligned agency incentives 2) We eliminate manual work involved with running effective âlong-tailâ search campaigns
We will typically run 3 to 6 million individual keywords, each with individually tailored ads. They are then set to bid using our bidding algorithm, which uses both historical data and a predictive algorithm to optimize search results.
Our value comes from driving efficiency out of the Google Adwords system, not inserting another layer of software, analysis, or agency cost into the system.

zkStudyClub - LatticeFold: A Lattice-based Folding Scheme and its Application...Alex Pruden
Â
Folding is a recent technique for building efficient recursive SNARKs. Several elegant folding protocols have been proposed, such as Nova, Supernova, Hypernova, Protostar, and others. However, all of them rely on an additively homomorphic commitment scheme based on discrete log, and are therefore not post-quantum secure. In this work we present LatticeFold, the first lattice-based folding protocol based on the Module SIS problem. This folding protocol naturally leads to an efficient recursive lattice-based SNARK and an efficient PCD scheme. LatticeFold supports folding low-degree relations, such as R1CS, as well as high-degree relations, such as CCS. The key challenge is to construct a secure folding protocol that works with the Ajtai commitment scheme. The difficulty, is ensuring that extracted witnesses are low norm through many rounds of folding. We present a novel technique using the sumcheck protocol to ensure that extracted witnesses are always low norm no matter how many rounds of folding are used. Our evaluation of the final proof system suggests that it is as performant as Hypernova, while providing post-quantum security.

Dandelion Hashtable: beyond billion requests per second on a commodity serverAntonios Katsarakis
Â
This slide deck presents DLHT, a concurrent in-memory hashtable. Despite efforts to optimize hashtables, that go as far as sacrificing core functionality, state-of-the-art designs still incur multiple memory accesses per request and block request processing in three cases. First, most hashtables block while waiting for data to be retrieved from memory. Second, open-addressing designs, which represent the current state-of-the-art, either cannot free index slots on deletes or must block all requests to do so. Third, index resizes block every request until all objects are copied to the new index. Defying folklore wisdom, DLHT forgoes open-addressing and adopts a fully-featured and memory-aware closed-addressing design based on bounded cache-line-chaining. This design offers lock-free index operations and deletes that free slots instantly, (2) completes most requests with a single memory access, (3) utilizes software prefetching to hide memory latencies, and (4) employs a novel non-blocking and parallel resizing. In a commodity server and a memory-resident workload, DLHT surpasses 1.6B requests per second and provides 3.5x (12x) the throughput of the state-of-the-art closed-addressing (open-addressing) resizable hashtable on Gets (Deletes).

How information systems are built or acquired puts information, which is what they should be about, in a secondary place. Our language adapted accordingly, and we no longer talk about information systems but applications. Applications evolved in a way to break data into diverse fragments, tightly coupled with applications and expensive to integrate. The result is technical debt, which is re-paid by taking even bigger "loans", resulting in an ever-increasing technical debt. Software engineering and procurement practices work in sync with market forces to maintain this trend. This talk demonstrates how natural this situation is. The question is: can something be done to reverse the trend?

Chris Jones, Director of Product Management at BrainChip , presents the âTemporal Event Neural Networks: A More Efficient Alternative to the Transformerâ tutorial at the May 2024 Embedded Vision Summit.
The expansion of AI services necessitates enhanced computational capabilities on edge devices. Temporal Event Neural Networks (TENNs), developed by BrainChip, represent a novel and highly efficient state-space network. TENNs demonstrate exceptional proficiency in handling multi-dimensional streaming data, facilitating advancements in object detection, action recognition, speech enhancement and language model/sequence generation. Through the utilization of polynomial-based continuous convolutions, TENNs streamline models, expedite training processes and significantly diminish memory requirements, achieving notable reductions of up to 50x in parameters and 5,000x in energy consumption compared to prevailing methodologies like transformers.
Integration with BrainChipâs Akida neuromorphic hardware IP further enhances TENNsâ capabilities, enabling the realization of highly capable, portable and passively cooled edge devices. This presentation delves into the technical innovations underlying TENNs, presents real-world benchmarks, and elucidates how this cutting-edge approach is positioned to revolutionize edge AI across diverse applications.

Editor's Notes
Thank you everyone for coming. Weâre very excited to be here as we share why the Messaging Toolkit is getting everyone at AT&T excited too! Before we jump into the presentation, hereâs a quick glance of what weâll be covering today.
transition: Top half, then bottom one at a time Alright great, so, what exactly is the att msg toolkit? Why is it going to be valuable to your customers-- Now youve probably realized that todayâs digital generation has different ways to communicate. mobile, email, voice, chat, etc. What weâve done is weâve combined todayâs popular channels into one integrated into a single integrated dashboard to really leverage all the toolkitâs capabilities The 4 main functionalities of this service are-- Collect customer contact information easy with list buliding tools Send and schedule marketing, promotion, and communication messages Engage customers interactively with our suite of marketing tool Lastly, Analyze your campaigns so you can make improvements in the future
Transition: section at a time So why do we care about this? Well, for the business owners that youre working with it will be increbiliy simple Business owners donw have time to learn multiple complex software, multiple services â They donât have the time to learn a text message service, or an email service, or a voice broadcast service â all while updating their facebook and twitter status. So weâve made it simple - we combined 5 of the most popular communication channels all onto 1 easy to use dashboard. Next, by leveraging all these channels it better enables you reach 100% of your contacts. For example â for meâ I prefer email â I like to kep things oraganiz.. Etc But it may not be the same for your customerâ They may be inandated with emails. And a mobile text may be the best way to connec tthem. By using multi channel marketing â you now give customers a choice for how they want to be communicated by you. And by sending them messages through their preferred channel, theyâre more likely to open, read, retain, and respond your message. And lastly, everythings in one place. So your database isnt scattered across different services and sfotware, itâs all under 1 roof, all under the att mtk. And it saves you money,-- because youâre not paying multiple bills, you only have one bill and much of the time its for the same price that you would pay for just a single service.
Photo of Trumpia jacket (1-3 depending on group size) Alright so â I really want you to âget itâ. To really grasp the concept of mobile text marketing. So everyone pull out your phones and text ATTWIN to 99000. -- throw a joke, some SPICE etc.--- Weâll be giving away a high quality cashemere sweater from trumpia â jk its not cashemere but it is a sweater.. Great â Iâm going to do it too.. Hey I won! JK, Donât worry I wont winâ So follow along, so by now you should have received a response. It says.. âthanks for joining our casdfsdf.. â So actually by having you all text that keyword, I have actually captured all of your phone numbers into my database and now I can send you promotions, messages, and engage with you further in the future. This is mobile text marketing.
And here are some great examples of how different types of businesses (doesnât matter where its small ,med, large, corps) can use these keywords add an interactive element to their once static advterisinment marketing.
Jan 22 , feb 92, march 150 You have 70 mobilty So why sell the att MTK --- First, itâs so easy and it is SO versatile- It doesn matter that the clients that youâre working with are SMB, enterprise, nonprofit â All of them can use this software to upgrade their marketing and communication. So with a wider target market, you have more opportunities to close business and meet your quote. As a matter of fact â on the east coast, Iâve heard they call the toolkit âthe one call quota hammerâ. Next, Deliver tangible results â Unlike other productsâ weâre not just helping improve efficiency- (we donât route phone calls, or make forms, do paymentsâ that stuff is BORING. Wee make better marketing. Better marketing = more sales, more sales = more business. And with justified ROI, theyâll be purchasing more from att, more often. Lastlyâ This is exciting technology. When you sell this product, youâll be working with marketing directors, VPs of marketing, business owners, CEOs, to launch this new and innovative marketing campaignsâ Itâs really fun stuff.
Please redesign
Great! So Letâs get into logiticsâ Hereâs the pricing for MTKâ Best of all â it starts at just $50. Such a low entry point, and every package/plan comes with everything the MTK has to offer- - no setup fees, no contracts, month to month. Very low barrier to entry So for just 50, your client can experience multi channel marketing â Things to take note is that we provide Roll-over text credits â similar to a cell phone plan, whatver credits you donât use â you get to keep. Each plan will come with a certain amount of text message credits, mobile keywords, and an email database limit. Every email, every IM, every social post will be freeâ If you run into a client who already is doing email marketing, which btw is the PERFECT prospectâ theyâll be very familiar and pleased with our pricing structure â Same thing goes for mobile text â the pricing stucture is o -------------------------- This is pricing strucutre â but one last thing to note is that weâre introducing even HIGHER plans â weâre literally outgrowing our pricing structure. The memphis grizzlies that I mentioned earlier â theyâre on the multi 30,000 because we DIDNâT HAVE THE multi 50,000 or the multi 100,000 â just know that those are needed and are on the way-
