The students in P-3 have been exploring their new classroom and school during the first days of the year. They have used play to get comfortable with their new environment and classmates. Some of their favorite activities have included playing in the kitchen area, using playdough, coloring, and learning about farm animals. They have also started discovering the playground and learning how to use the drinking fountain. As the year progresses, they will continue constructing their classroom community through decorating, sharing, and getting to know one another better. They are excited to keep learning through play.
