Retail pharmacy are commonly known as community pharmacy
are owned by persons or group of persons and are independent .
are not owned by hospital and inside the hospital pharmacy.
Though both hospital and community pharmacy are responsible for transferring
ownership of drugs to owner, technically they are different .
3. Current situation and Issues
According to law, drugs are not allowed to be kept in the front desks or the at a
distance that customer can handle it("National Pharmacy Guidelines ", 2005)
However the increase cost of space has increased the risk.

A descriptive observational study
The study was conducted in the Sallaghari area of Bhaktapur District
10 Community Pharmacies were registered at that area .
