Roles and Responsibilities
 Currently involved in providing Technical support to Ericsson IN product like SDP,EMA,
EMM, CCN (SCP) and Account Information & Refill Server. (PREPAID BILLLING
MECHANISM) and maintaining IN product configuration as a part of GSDC GNOC Team.
 Monitoring, troubleshooting and administration of IN related products/Nodes.
 Troubleshooting include Sun Solaris OS, IN Nodes.
 Monitoring includes health of IN Nodes and server alarms and rectification, backup etc.
 Handling critical, major and minor issues arising in the Ericsson Prepaid systems and
providing solutions within SLA.
 Handle emergencies and if required coordinate with Emergency support, investigate
faults/cause related to system/network problems and handle the tasks creating innovative
and logical solutions to solve complex problems.
 Reconciliation and RA validation regarding CDR, call rates and revenue related term.
 Interaction with Marketing & Revenue Assurance teams for IN product
configurations, UAT proceedings, solve complex issues reported by the same and also
perform reconciliation activities along with Revenue Assurance/ Finance Teams for Fraud
Management.

2.  Working on regular Global customer complaints and requests (call disputes, Recharge
related problems, wrong charging etc) with in the agreed SLAs.
 Providing Root cause analysis (RCA) of the problems.
 Working on wrong charging cases/new patch installations and all kinds of telecom technical
support role.
 Part for upgrades in the Network.
Projects Handled:
1. Bharti Mobile Broadband Charging Go-Live:
The project involved the transfer and ownership of Bharti Post-Paid subscribers
from Huawei IN to Ericsson IN system and subsequent charging/ billing for Data
Services.
# The provisioning/de-provisioning of Offer ID/PAM ID from Customer
Account and identifying and rectifying any errors
# Conducting Health Check Up of IN nodes ( AIR, SDP ,CCN)
# Operation and Maintenance of all the nodes involved for the MBC project
2. Ericsson India: - Operation and Maintenance of all IN nodes
Duration : - December 2010- Till present
Following activities were carried out
 Working on Ericsson Intelligent Network (IN) on Charging System 5.0
 Providing support to Prepaid subscribers for Ericsson India projects within the SLA time.
 Operation & Maintenance of all the IN Nodes & solving related trouble tickets. Specially
SDP, AIR, VS,MINSAT,IVR,CCN And EMA.
 Solving customer complaints & tickets raised by NOC & L1 -FM .
 As a 2nd line support engineer worked in various IN nodes like SDP, AIR, CCN,
MINSAT, VS,EMA,EMM,IVR and does the basic CSR handling
 Taking traces for recharges and voice for analyzing the cause and troubleshooting the
failures
 Doing Activities on IN NODES .
 Creation of GUI and Command line users for all nodes like SDP,AIR,VS
 Done Restoration of MINSAT with File System backup.
 Conducting health check up of all IN nodes
(IVR,MINSAT,SDP,CCN,VS,EMM,EMA,AIR)and escalation to vendor for any issues.
 Ensuring completion of backup of IN nodes daily & Monthly.

3.  Monitoring of process so that all IN related dumps/data are transferred to IT server on
Time.
 Provisioning and De-provisioning of prepaid nos as per requirement.
 Solving RA related issues for Subscriber Reconciliation.
 Looking for Voucher generation ,state change, purging process
 Solving FTA related issue.
 Solving Recharge related issue, Doing testing scenario for finding the fault cause.
 Coordinating with different teams(MPBN, STP ,Field Maintenance) to solve DIP in
GPRS & DBP traffic.
 Implementing the recommendations in all nodes from development team.
 Making scripts for daily usage like ftping reports, cleaning disk space ,taking count from
reports.
