OBJECTIVE:
Delve into the depths of SCM and Logistics operations of an organization and give recommendations that
influence Company’s decision-making. Being a logistician, I want to build relationships, make strategic partners

Obtained a certificate of learning in Lean Six Sigma from Lehigh University. Attended the Six Sigma lecture at
Crayola LLC, sponsored by Crayola plant at Easton, PA, USA to understand the Six Sigma practices in the

Designed a machine for “Automatic Jaggery Making” that can help the cottage industry in Erode district, India to

Responsibilities:
In charge of end to end Supply chain of export operations including sourcing, inventory and shipping of
agricultural commodities like Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN’s) and seasame. Also, co-ordinate sales activities of
Glocal Guinee and M/s. Selwin Impex; our sister company, which work jointly with our African
establishment.

About the company: CAS is a world class German automotive company. Allentown facility is a distribution
center serving distributors, retailers and OEM customers in the Interior division of Continental AG.
Position held: Logistics Intern.
Responsibilities:
1. To identify issues in the shipping department and standardize the process.
2. Efficient movement of goods within various departments and the warehouse
3. Work on the SAP improvement projects.
Accomplishments:
1. Identified the root cause of the shipping problems in LTL and UPS line and created process improvement
plans.
2. Identified and fixed product allocation issues, labeling issues and order processing methods.
3. Standardization of shipping documents (BL’s and Packing list).
4. Maintaining metrics (KPI) for process improvement.

Position held: Industrial Engineering Consultant for Lidoderm process improvement.
Responsibilities:
1. To increase the throughput of the machine by 5%
2. Reduce the change over time between batches from 2 hours to 1.5 hours
3. Reduce the crew size by 1 worker.
Accomplishments:
1. Increased machine throughput by 12%.
2. Reduced the change-over time between batches by 27% relative to the current average (1.48 hours).
