The document describes the configuration of VLANs on a switch and the configuration of subinterfaces on a router to connect the VLANs. VLANs 2, 3, and 4 are created on the switch and ports are assigned accordingly. The switch port connected to the router is configured as a trunk. On the router, subinterfaces are configured with IP addresses for each VLAN and encapsulation is set to dot1q. The configurations are saved.
