Client: The Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta GA. Jan 2012 – Sept 2012
Client initiated a program to replace the Company’s current aging Data Center infrastructure
with a World Class Data Center solution by creating a highly reliable and geographically diverse
World Class Data Center infrastructure, establishing scalable technical capabilities & enabling
an environment conducive to an accelerated rate of change. The migration included 200+ Non
SAP applications and 100+ legacy applications. Capgemini scope included application’s
migration AS IS with different testing strategies identified for different application based on the
criticality and business availability point of view. A different vendor was responsible for the
server hardware/infrastructure in the new Data Center. Mainframe and iSeries were part of the
100+ legacy applications.
This position involved the Project Leader coordinating between the infrastructure, hardware,
network, application, technical and testing teams, external vendors, multitude of external
applications and systems, Business, Client Engagement teams to achieve the single common
goal of moving the applications and servers to the new Data Center AS IS without impacting any
Business processes or stopping of any Business activities. Responsibilities included
coordinating with the above mentioned teams, reporting to the Client engagement and senior
leadership, communicating with the Client engagement and Business leadership of the
migration dates and activities and thought leadership for the development of innovative, value
