between four projects. One “Tax Credit” apartment rehab project and three
“A” new constructions projects. Worked with development team to bring
concepts into buildable projects.
Maintained budgets and schedules, contract negotiations from civil
process, infrastructure and build out. Oversaw all plat, and plan submittals.
Supervised construction staff. Responsible for all aspects of projects from

97 - 99 CHIEF ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Sycamore Construction Ltd. /Brisben Development, Inc., Cincinnati,
Ohio. One of the top ten largest multi-family builders in America.
Headquarters based in Cincinnati, operating in 19 plus states.
Primarily responsible for estimating all materials for all jobs, nationwide,
including the negotiation and buyout of all lumber. Additionally served in
project management in several capacities on jobs located in several
locations. Initiated the bid process and certain contract negotiations for a
160-unit project in Santa Fe, New Mexico, including interaction with city
officials and governing entities.
Served as Construction Project Manager for land development on two
high-end single-family subdivisions in Cincinnati. In addition, served as
Project Manager for the rehab of a 384-unit apartment project, also in
Cincinnati.
Transferred to Colorado in January 1999, provided onsite project
management for a 168-unit project in the mountains west of Denver while
continued to be involved simultaneously in the Santa Fe project.

implementation of affordable housing projects, low interest rehabilitation
loans and home-buying counseling and workshops.
Responsibilities included seeking land for development of projects,
designing projects to fit requirements of several different funding sources.
Inspections of homes for code compliance (UBC), structural deficiency,
and energy efficiency, estimating cost, writing specifications, designing
and drawing plans, subcontracting architectural services as required.
Negotiated with City Historic Board, State Historic Board, Zoning
Departments, City and County Councils, and Building Safety Divisions.
Preparation of loans, mortgages, notes and grants.

and accounting management, with special attention to scheduling, field

A development and construction firm involved in a wide range of projects,
including speculative and custom single-family homes, apartment
complexes from 50-700 units, townhouse projects from 21-250 units,
shopping centers, and office and warehouse office complexes.
Responsibilities included architectural and design review, bid
coordinating, contract negotiations and buy out, estimating all phases,
scheduling all phases, quality control, customer change orders, customer
relations and warranty. Reported directly to the president.
