part of many research studies requiring high levels of organizational, data
inputting, mathematical, written, and verbal skills. I consider myself
proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and also many statistical and
data inputting programs. I am quick to learn new information and if a task is
modeled to me, I am able to understand material rapidly. During my time at
UNT, I enjoyed being a part of a research team in a leadership position and
working alongside peers. Being in a human development field, I adapt
quickly to changes and face them with confidence and enthusiasm. My

Michael Barnett’s “Future Self”: Researched measures to use and
wrote up drafts for online study. Handled confidential and personal
information for research study (Fall 2012)
John Ruiz’s “Cardiovascular Response to Racial Microaggressions
between Hispanic and non-Hispanic Whites”. Ran participants and
connected electrodes and monitored EEG. Tasks were detail-oriented
and specific in nature. Helped write the poster for this project and I
got accepted as a poster presentation at the 34th Annual Meeting &
Scientific Sessions of the Society of Behavioral Medicine. Presented
study to board. (6/15/12- 2/12/13)

3. Bert Hayslip’s Project COPE: Worked as a research assistant in this
project which studies grandmother’s raising grandchildren. Assessed
children with a computer program and inputted data into multiple
systems. Took high levels of organizational skills and detail.
Interacted with caregivers and children of different background.

Dr. Barnett and Dr. Ruggero “Sliding fee scales may not be enough to
assist low-income clients to come in for therapy”. Literature review
written for manuscript as a special project. IRB approved. Used
Statistical Systems to input mathematical data into multiple systems
