PROJECT#1:
Project name: Program Trading Engine and Comet.
Role: Assistant Manager
Test team Size: 5
Test tools: Aegis Client Simulator, PTE, Comet, CitiMatch, SOR, DMA, CITISMART, UNIX Logs, Middle office and
booking tools. We followed V model or mini waterfall approach in Equities.
Duration: August 2015 till date
Description: PTE processes bulk orders i.e. more than 15 orders in a list and Comet is used to process single order
in a manner in which client is always in a win win state.

2. For example: We send an order to Citi Match which is crossing engine which crosses order received from PTE. It
has its own algorithm by which it tries to provide best fill at bets price to clients.
As a tester, our job is to verify crossingmechanism& ACT reporting functions.We need to check that after
ticketing all MO systems likePrimo and MOGA are carryingthemarket and customer legs. We also need to check
that all cases arecompliantto FIX in RIO /PTMS server logs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Attend workshops driven by client-SME and gathered knowledge of artifacts and business flow.
 Write test cases and take final sign off from SMEs.
 Review & update old test cases as per CR.
 Execute the flow and do-Fix Log verification both RIO and PTMS, database verification, booking
verification for both street side and internal fills.
 Develop and implement test plans for various releases.
 RCA and quality checking of defects recorded by team members.
 Send the status report (Daily ,Weekly etc.) to the Client/stakeholders.
 Pull cases from each release to regression pack and enhance the pack by cleaning up.
 Automation of a few sampled cases from each artifact assigned in each release.
 Allocate and check if quarterly compliance cases are being executed in timely manner.

Test Tools: Intellimatch, Payment Investigation Interface, Team Foundation, SAFAL- an in house tool for
automation. We followed Agile Scrum approach in Intellimatch.
Duration: June 2013 to Aug 2015
Description: Intellimatch is used to match two transactions when a perfect match based on specific criteria has
been found. At client end from importing the data to running dupcheck, data enrichment and performing match
ultimately is scheduled in the form of jobs. Within Intellimatch there are various other units like BFM,KPIs,
Trending and Analysis used for understanding business trends whose usage is customized as per clients
requirements.

 Review the requirements/Effective Grooming.
 Preparingthe Test Cases.
 Test data creation & executing the test cases on various builds.Defect reporting& tracking.
