with a variety of learning needs amongst the Autism spectrum. Integrated students

 Instructed a general education student with a significant learning need as a one to
one support.
Fall 2015 pre-practicum apprenticeship (I): Franklin Ave Elementary, Westfield, MA (3rd
grade)
 Instructed a small group on writing skills and addressed behaviors with redirection
and differentiation of expectations.
Fall 2015 pre-practicum apprenticeship (II): Highland Elementary Westfield, Ma (1st grade)
 Instructed two English Language Learners on basic phonemic awareness and
reading skills while progressing on social and evaluated reading comprehension and
writing skills, in a thirty-minute lesson.
Fall 2015 pre-practicum (30+ hours): 3-5 sub-separate classroom Mountain View School
East Longmeadow, Ma
 Collaborated with teacher to instruct an individual student on comprehension of
texts. Addressed students’ behaviors and evaluated areas of need. Compiled data of
student learning from lessons compiled and assessments provided.
Spring 2015 pre-practicum (15+ hours): Westfield Head Start & Early Intervention

 Observed student behavior in regards to the stages of child development and
analyzed students’ needs in each category of physical and academic needs.
Fall 2014 pre-practicum (30+ hours): Fourth grade inclusive classroom, Selser School
Chicopee, Ma
 Facilitated lessons and instructed reading and math groups for different leveled
learners. Integrated course ideas into placement and planning techniques of
differentiating curriculum.

 Established a bond with the child as she developed and introduced many socially
appropriate behaviors, while minimizing socially unacceptable ones.

Knowledgeable with Microsoft, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to hold a proficient
and conventional conversation in Spanish. Familiar with several means of digital
representation; Blogger, Edmodo and Prezi.
