 Wrote Individualized Education Plans for 15-20 students per year in grades 8 and 7, meeting the set timelines.
 I communicated with parents of students on my caseload, staff, student, administration, as well as parents of
students in the cotaught class, as well as DSS and home and hospital facilities.
 I organized IEP meetings for students on my caseload as well as presenting the IEPs at meetings with the IEP team
 In order to prepare for the IEP meetings and determine accurate present levels of performance I administered a
variety of assessments,including the Qualitative Reading Inventory (QRI,) The Brigance, Woodcock Johnson,
Curriculum-Based Assessment for Writing (CBA,) as well as the Math Predictors Test.
 During this time, I planned, modified, and cotaught the Maryland State Curriculum in Reading, Math, Social
Studies, and Science as well as modifying written portions included in the student’s Unified Arts classes.
 I taught small group reading and math intervention programs to students who were performing at below grade-
level expectations.
