clinically- rich teacher preparation program. R2T programs incorporate problem-based

with schools, intensive mentoring by master teachers, a strong content knowledge
demonstration, and the use of performance-based assessment for planning purpose
during the full-year residency.
Complete Teacher Performance Assessment (edTPA). This rigorous assessment
consists of planning, instruction, and assessment commentaries along with a video-clip
taken during a 3-5 lesson sequence. Academic language and analysis of student
learning are also woven through this nationally scored assessment. Post-secondary
institutions in 24 states use the edTPA for assessment.
