INVENTORY/ PARS Supervisor, 2007-2010:
Responsible for thestaff who worked the
warehouse and assisted in the day to day duties. Weekly payrolland PTO requests were
approved through me depending on staffing needs. Coordinated the daily warehouse
order to resupply for our internal JIT systemwith Cardinal using GHX. Responsiblefor
the yearly inventory of thewarehouse. Generated requisitions in Lawson and PeopleSoft
for our durable medical equipment purchases as needed and verified receipts of product
once received. Sat as thedepartmental chair for the CPR Committee and VAT committee.
LINEN / DME Supervisor, 2010-2012: Responsible for the staff that delivered the
medical equipment and linens to and within the hospital. Same administrative duties
listed above. Worked closely with vendors to get products for the crash carts, isolation
carts and intubation boxes used within the institution. Priced exceptions along with
replacements for the institution. Coordinated in getting DI carts fabricated and utilized
institutionally. Worked with Texas Medical Center laundry services and Standard Textile
in providing and purchasing the proper linens while working with theOR and other internal
areas and clinics in getting the best prices and up to date materials needed for minimal cost to the
institution. Coordinated TMC annual linen inventory for MDACC. Hosted monthly Linen
Committee Meetings for our internal customers.
RECEIVING Supervisor, 2012-Currently:Responsible for theMain and BSRB loading docks
and accompanying staff. Oversee the daily receipt and delivery of all packages and
items to the institution. Coordinate the dock traffic and maintain thedelivery warehouse
daily. Negotiate delivery terms with external customers and main customer service
representativefor MDA for Lone Star, DHL, FedEx and UPS. Extensive knowledge in
VueturaTrak systems and thePeopleSoft integration for the receipt and payment process
regarding INR and RNI statused packages. Currently purchase and oversee requisitions
for the department regarding fiscal budget.
Accomplishments
● Kept all inventories for all areas between .5 and 1% against loss with a buffer of
2.25%.
● Brought thelinen into the digital age with the implementation and purchaseof
handhelds to account for the daily deliveries and inventory of product in the
warehouse.
● Wrote scope and negotiated AirGas contract for departmental O2 needs with
Sourcing and Contract department and HUB vendors.
● Ran testing and converted Lawson databases for the department during the
PeopleSoft conversion.
● Readjusted theinternal delivery systemputtingemphasis on perishables and
priorities and allowing an internal 48-72 hours for ground deliveries.

closed daily to better service the institution. This resulted in an immediate 712
hour improvement on delivery turnaround from the staffing allotment.
