JOB ROLE- Incident management and Appworx Batch Remediation (monitoring) and
Scheduling.
•Manage Priority Level One and Two incidents that have the highest impact to the
business, & to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible and minimize
the adverse impact on business operations.
•Provide timely communication of critical service interruptions to leadership and
clients.
•NOC monitoring and SOX server monitoring and reporting to the concerned team
and working with them.
•Continuously follow-up with Technical support team for relevant notification
updates per SLA, and drive resolution.
•Ensure timely notification and engagement of Ad-hoc recovery team.
•Assist in contacting other Third Parties (e.g. Verizon, IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, Black
box, Terix etc.) in the event they are required during a recovery.
•Lead the technical recovery team in identification of failover processes, potential
workarounds and restoration action plan.
•Capture and document incident data for Severity 1 incidents to assist with any
follow up actions to be addressed (affected customers, affected sites, affected
items, detailed description of incident, summary of key restore actions or
workaround, incident record number and associated Rtop, technical and client
impact).
•Engage any internal or external vendor resources needed to quickly restore
service and follow-up with support team personnel to ensure root cause analysis
completion.
•Monitor different alerts that pop-up on monitoring consoles (Net cool and Outlook)
and give a warm-handoff to the related technical teams within the SLA using
Remedy Ticketing Tool (BMC remedy tool and Service Now).
•Point of Contact to report any Multi User Issue and strive for a quick Resolution
according the Priority and Impact of the Issue from the User/Client end.
•Running and debugging Batch in Production environment. Worked on Defect
tracking & reporting.
•Working on customer queries regarding Submitting, Resetting, Deleting, Holding,
Scheduling, Re-submitting, Killing, changing condition, exceptions, dependencies
etc. of Oracle Jobs that run through various Appworx environments (PROD/PROD-
EXT/DEV/DEV-EXT/STAGE/QA).
•Working on Informatica Power Center Workflow Manager and Monitor tool and
processing various manual requests in it as per user request.
•Working on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Genetran Sterling Integrator for
Reprocessing and Requeuing manual invoicing requests regarding different
Business Processes by various users. HOLD EDI schedules at time of patching
activities.
•Joining- can immediately join within a week.
