• Conduct Shear wave splitting analyses in the Eurasia & India-Australia plates
with more emphasis to Tien Shan Orogenic Belt.

o Formulate and prepare different projects based on priority for geohazard
identification, public awareness creation and mitigation measures to be taken
o Train and supervise both in field and office junior and middle level
geoscientists
o Reviewed technical reports written by junior and middle level geoscientists
o Give annual presentation on completion of each projects: findings and
progresses of each project.
o Interpret the clay and silt horizons sensitive to trigger landslide in the Blue
Nile river gorge.
