Halas Hall Expansion, Lake Forest Illinois - 60,000 SF addition to the Corporate Offices andTraining Facilities
Client developed over several years by assisting with several small projects, demonstrating competence and delivery
designs respectful of the organization’s culture.
Performed feasability study and developed design. Evaluated new material, systems and building alterations to address long
standing maintenance issues. Managed document production team, building information model and design consultants.
Provided construction oversight. Introduced new facilities featuring team history, improved sponsor development,
expanded offices, new food service, television and radio production studios, event spaces, campus security, expanded
athletic training and updated coaching and player facilities.
Project delivered within off season time constraints.
Client - Chicago Bears Football Club
Builder - Mortenson Construction
Soldier Field Branded Retail, Chicago Illinois - 4,000 SF addition in existing assembly structure
Secured project by demonstrating competence and understanding of complicated exiting issues at the stadium. Designed
for balancing opposing requirements for a prominent retail presence that did not intrude on existing memorial installation.
Evaluated several under-utilized locations for impact on exiting, visibility, access and feasability. Coordinated retail,
mechanical and structural consultants and document team. Reviewed exiting and structural impacts with city of Chicago
building department during preliminary design.
Project delivered within budget without changes for existing conditions.

Builder - DeMarsh Construction
A Childs Place, Early Learning Centers and Sportsplex, McHenry andVolo Illinois
Developed a prototype facility with Design Builder and implemented at multiple locations. Design evolved incorporating
lessons learned and regulatory changes. Latest facility included development of larger site for private multi-sport recreation
facility to coordinate with Learning Center. Adapted design for sites. Managed document production and provided
coordination support to Design Builder.
Client’s business has grown, staff and consumers have been very pleased.

Builder - Quincy Construction
Olsun Electric Production Facility, Richmond Illinois - 35,000 SF addition and 50,000 SF alterations
A design build project to extensively modernize and expand a legacy fabrication facility where production could not be
interrupted. Modified facilities to not only improve production, workplace safety and skilled employee retention but project
an appropriate image for the quality products produced within tight budget constraints.
Developed design with owner, production managers and builder. Managed document production and provided coordination
support to Design Builder.
Project phasing successfully minimized impact on production facility operations and avoiding shutdown.

Builder - Platford Construction
Vi Living Senior Residences, Lantana and Aventura Florida - Updated and expanded Sales & Resident facilities
A series of remotely coordinated projects. Organize information resources as needed to assemble documentation for design
and construction. Evaluated existing facility adaptability for re-purposed and updated spaces. Developed design materials
needed for corporate approval. Managed construction document production and permit review..
