Results of Questionnaire<br />Although slightly bias in having a higher percentage of female answers, we can still realise the points of view of both sex’s. <br />It is important to notice, our film is targeting the younger age generation hence why there is a majority 16-25. We decided to have a cut off up to 16 because we didn’t feel the subject discussed in the film was appropriate for younger.<br />This question felt needed as we needed to be able to appreciate that short films aren’t commonly used in media major areas like cinemas. Therefore again, it’s more likely that our type of film will be played in an educational environment like a school, making the target audience appropriate.<br />From this question, we were already aware that people may not necessarily enjoy films of this genre as they’re not widely spread nor particularly popular. However, surprisingly we discovered 70% actually did enjoy them, making our job easier in choosing this genre!<br />This question was vital to address because it’s how our audience see our film and also gives us an indication to the importance of these certain elements, by combining these three elements we are able to create an effective and satisfactory short film.<br />As we are going to see an intense scene in our film, it’s crucial that we satisfy the audience needs with regards to how they wish to see it. Straight cuts is the most popular therefore we will majorly use this editing type but may mix it up with the others that some did enjoy.<br />In order to attract our audience, we need to be made aware how often people watch this genre of films. These results make it obvious that we need to make ours particularly enticing! <br />In order to make sure our film is appropriate, we need to understand where this genre of films is mostly seen. The result shows that they are mostly watched in an educational environment and because they are of the age, we are able to use some language as they are over or on the age of 16.<br />Again, to make our film suit the audience, we wanted to be able to value their preferences to ending type. By combining the closure and mysterious open ending we are able to satisfy every ones needs!<br />As this was a key idea discussed within our production group, we needed to see if the audience felt the same! And thank goodness the majority did as this is an extremely important element to our film as it’s basically the storyline expressed through the use of a flashback.<br />

Results of Questionnaire<br />Although slightly bias in having a higher percentage of female answers, we can still realise the points of view of both sex’s. <br />It is important to notice, our film is targeting the younger age generation hence why there is a majority 16-25. We decided to have a cut off up to 16 because we didn’t feel the subject discussed in the film was appropriate for younger.<br />This question felt needed as we needed to be able to appreciate that short films aren’t commonly used in media major areas like cinemas. Therefore again, it’s more likely that our type of film will be played in an educational environment like a school, making the target audience appropriate.<br />From this question, we were already aware that people may not necessarily enjoy films of this genre as they’re not widely spread nor particularly popular. However, surprisingly we discovered 70% actually did enjoy them, making our job easier in choosing this genre!<br />This question was vital to address because it’s how our audience see our film and also gives us an indication to the importance of these certain elements, by combining these three elements we are able to create an effective and satisfactory short film.<br />As we are going to see an intense scene in our film, it’s crucial that we satisfy the audience needs with regards to how they wish to see it. Straight cuts is the most popular therefore we will majorly use this editing type but may mix it up with the others that some did enjoy.<br />In order to attract our audience, we need to be made aware how often people watch this genre of films. These results make it obvious that we need to make ours particularly enticing! <br />In order to make sure our film is appropriate, we need to understand where this genre of films is mostly seen. The result shows that they are mostly watched in an educational environment and because they are of the age, we are able to use some language as they are over or on the age of 16.<br />Again, to make our film suit the audience, we wanted to be able to value their preferences to ending type. By combining the closure and mysterious open ending we are able to satisfy every ones needs!<br />As this was a key idea discussed within our production group, we needed to see if the audience felt the same! And thank goodness the majority did as this is an extremely important element to our film as it’s basically the storyline expressed through the use of a flashback.<br />
