This PPT covers the basic elements of a research report. This is a general guide for what you will see in journal articles or dissertations. This format assumes a mixed methods study, but you can leave out either quantitative or qualitative sections if you only used a single methodology.
A research design is the arrangement of conditions for collection and analysis of data in a manner that aims to combine relevance to the research with economy in procedure.
It is a conceptual structure within which research is conducted; it constitutes the blueprint for the collection, measurement and analysis of data.
A few month ago I'm participate a workshop "How to prepare thesis writing or project book" in my university. Workshop is conduct by M. NURUL ISLAM. He is the Asst.Professor on DEPARTMENT OF STATISTICS,
UNIVERSITY OF DHAKA
Presentation deals with scientific process of Hypothesis formulation. Presentation would quench the thirst of beginners in social sciences researchers especially in commerce and Management towards basic understanding of Research Issues, Statement of Research Problem formulating hypothesis and research protocol. Presentation attempts to simplify process of narrowing the research problem from research issue and helps to formulate hypothesis scientifically. Deciding on appropriate title to research is equally important, this presentation discusses different context which helps to decide on appropriate title. Presentation includes case study examples for sound understanding.

Whether itâs the rich western world of Europe and America where millions of refugees have landed in hope of asylum, or the South-East Asian countries like Malaysia, and Bangladesh, where thousands of Rohingya Muslims have entered from Buddhist Myanmar, the world is witnessing a refugee crisis far intense than ever before.
Although India has decided to deport nearly 40,000 Rohingyas, who illegally entered India from Myanmar and Bangladesh borders, but on the other hand, India is home to nearly 3 lakh refugees from 30 odd countries.
Apart from refugees from neighbouring countries like Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Pakistan and Bangladesh, India also houses refugees from rich western countries like the US, UK, France, Germany and Australia.
According to the latest available data which was presented by Minister Of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju in March 2016, a total of 2,89,394 refugees living in India (as on 31/12/2014) from 28 different countries which also included stateless people. This the number of refugees living in India legally and doesnât include the numbers of Rohingyas and Bangladeshi migrants living illegally in India.
This PPT shows the situation of Refugees in India
India is rapidly becoming urbanised. By 2030, around 40% of the country's population will live in urban areas. The extent to which India's health system can provide for this large and growing city-based population will determine the country's success in achieving universal health coverage and improved national health indices. In The Lancet Global Health, Sundeep Salvi and colleagues1 offer a glimpse into India's urban health situation by reporting on the medical symptoms and diagnoses and the characteristics of patients who sought treatment from qualified primary health-care practitioners across 880 cities and towns on one day in 2011.
Droughts, flash floods, flooding from monsoonal rains, severe thunderstorms, earthquakes cyclones, landslides and other disasters that kill dozens of people every year in India. They would be front page news if they happened in America but in India are buried in the back pages of Indian newspapers because they occur so frequently. The death of 5,000 people from the December 2004 tsunami wasnât as big a deal in India as might have been in other places. In 2001, India experienced an earthquake that left 25,000 dead. In 1999, a cyclone killed more than 3,500 people. Every year several hundred Indians die in monsoon floods.
Mark Twain once commented that Indians "are a curious people. With them all life seems to be sacred, excepted human life." On a flood one Indian newspaper editor told AP, âFloods donât have any disaster value any more. Itâs nothing new. Its an annual phenomena, so newspaper editors are indifferent. People have gotten immune to human disasters. It tragic but true.â
In the early 2000s, the Indian government promised to provide families $2,400 for each victim killed in a disaster provided the family show proof of death. In the majority of cases, families failed to collect the compensation payments because they couldnât prove the victim was dead. Sometimes bodies are cremated before they are identified. For religious and health reasons, the dead are often cremated soon after a disaster occurs. The final death counts from natural disasters are often unknown.
Top 10 disasters in India are presented here
Today we recognize that to try and improve the position of women one needs to look at the girl child who is a woman of tomorrow. Only when we visualize a female child with high self esteem not merely in recipient roles but in active productive roles with a concern for human dignity will be have strong and empowered women. The ultimate goal is to have an active, healthy and confident female child unfettered by 2009 2009 Social Institutions and Gender Index with equal access to knowledge information and opportunities.
A girlâs discrimination begins even before birth. Our statistics clearly point out to some facts that abortion of female fetuses is on the rise,It is reported that about 4,000 female babies are aborted in Tamil Nadu (southern India) every year. Sex determination tests are widely resorted to even in the remotest rural areas. Since most deliveries in rural areas take place at home, there is no record of the exact number of births/deaths that take place. Therefore, it is difficult to assess the magnitude of the problem. The ratio of female to male is declining. Even though the national sex ratio in the 2011 Census 944 is more than 2001âs 934, in states like Punjab, Haryana the sex ratio is about 899 and 885 respectively. There is reluctance to seek medical aid for ailing daughters. Regardless of the economic background the status of the female child has never been the same as that of the male at any level.
Gender roles are conceived, taught and enacted in a complex set of relationships within the family and society at large. Needless to say, the media reinforces the same stereotyped gender roles. The girl child grows up with a low self esteem. She grows up with a notion of temporary membership in her natal home to be disposed off with assets and dowry. A traditional saying sums it up thus, a daughter is like ghee (clarified butter)âboth will stay good only upto a point. If you do not dispose them off they start stinking. Her productive role is to continue the household drudgery added to which is her reproductive responsibility.
The situation analysis of girl child is mentioned in this ppt.
Denotified Tribes (DNTs), also known as Vimukta Jati, are the tribes that were originally listed under the Criminal Tribes Act of 1871, as "Criminal Tribes" and "addicted to the systematic commission of non-bailable offences." Once a tribe became "notified" as criminal, all its members were required to register with the local magistrate, failing which they would be charged with a "crime" under the Indian Penal Code. The Criminal Tribes Act of 1952 repealed the notification, i.e. 'de-notified' the tribal communities. This Act, however, was replaced by a series of Habitual Offenders Acts, that asked police to investigate a "suspect's" "criminal tendencies" and whether their occupation is "conducive to settled way of life." The denotified tribes were reclassified as "habitual offenders" in 1959.
The name "Criminal Tribes" is itself a misnomer as no definition of tribe denotes occupation, but they were identified as tribes "performing" their primary occupation. The first census was in 1871 and at that time there was no consensus nor any definition of what constitutes a "tribe". The terms "tribe" and "caste" were used interchangeably for these communities.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept that suggests that it is the responsibility of the corporations operating within society to contribute towards economic, social and environmental development that creates positive impact on society at large. Although there is no fixed definition, however the concept revolves around that fact the corporations needs to focus beyond earning just profits. The term became popular in the 1960s and now is formidable part of business operations.
In folklore, a ghost is the soul or spirit of a dead person or animal that can appear to the living. Descriptions of ghosts vary widely from an invisible presence to translucent or barely visible wispy shapes, to realistic, lifelike visions.
The product life cycle is an important concept in marketing. It describes the stages a product goes through from when it was first thought of until it finally is removed from the market. Not all products reach this final stage.
PLC is clearly explained with relevant examples of various products and their life cycles
Traveling doesn't always mean an elaborate vacation or hoping on a plane to go somewhere. It can be as simple has driving to a state park, driving around the state and visiting different places along the road trip, or driving across multiple states on a huge road trip with friends or family. It can be anywhere, any time. What matters the most is what you took away from the experience, what you've learned, and how much fun you've had.
Through out my life, thus far, I have been to so many states in India and had seen a lot a beautiful landscapes, met a lot of wonderful people, and made so many memories and I thank my family and friends for all the traveling we have done. From one state to another, from one place to another, all the little road trips in between; all the funny moments and all the things I've learned, So many moments stand out in my mind from all my trips and vacations.
Travel doesn't mean World Tour. India is a packet loads of goodies. There is so much to see in India first. Here I'm mentioning few things that you should do in India before you die or even before you go on trips to other countries.
Time Management is essentially the ability to organize and plan the time spent on activities in a day. The result of good time management is increased effectiveness and productivity. It is a key aspect of project management and involves skills such as planning, setting goals and prioritizing for a better performance.
Better ways to manage and cut down wastage of time and increase productivity are mentioned in a simpler way.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as âdistorted thinkingâ.

The map views are useful for providing a geographical representation of data. They allow users to visualize and analyze the data in a more intuitive manner.
Operation âBlue Starâ is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
