This research proposal aims to determine the level of academic stress and coping strategies of Grade 12 STEM students at Isulan National High School. The study will use a descriptive research design and survey 20 STEM students using simple random sampling. The survey questionnaire will gather data on academic stress levels and coping strategies. Frequency, distribution, percentage, and weighted mean will then be used to statistically analyze the results and form the basis of an action plan.

This study examines how elementary education teacher candidates conceptualize STEM fields through interviews. It finds that candidates have some discomfort with STEM subjects in their thoughts, feelings, and attitudes. The study aims to understand candidates' knowledge and perceptions of STEM to inform curriculum design for teacher preparation programs. It uses a conceptual framework of affective, cognitive, and behavioral components and finds limited understanding of STEM field interconnectivity among candidates. The implications are that teacher preparation programs should consider students' attitudes and further develop STEM education preparation since it is an growing expectation for teachers.

Advocating School Intervention Program among Junior High Students
The research was conducted at Matab ang National High School Toledo City Division -Region VII as a bases for an action plan for “Advocating School Intervention Program among Junior High students in Matab ang National High School, Matab ang Toledo City Cebu and the Scheme of Implementation of the Student’s Intervention Program of Matab ang National High School and evaluated on the level of students intervention program implementation in terms of Therapy Programs, Intervention Team Approaches, Supplemental Programs, Community Home School Partnership Programs and Whole School Reform Programs. Descriptive method was used. Questionnaires were given to 10 teachers and 240 students for evaluation. Gathered data were treated using total weighted points, weighted mean, and t test. Based on the findings and after a careful analysis and interpretation of the study, it is concluded that the ““Advocating School Intervention Program among Junior High in Matab ang National High School, Matab ang Toledo City Cebu and the Scheme of Implementation of the Student’s Intervention Program of Matab ang National High School”. It was recommended that this study has identified the following key aspects of intervention for improving the literacy skills of students 1. promoting positive relationships between teacher and students by providing a designated teacher for intervention 2. providing at least three to five sessions of explicit intensive instruction per week 3. using experienced literacy teachers to facilitate the intervention 4. maintaining flexibility within the program to address changes in individual students’ interests and needs 5. working with other teachers to extend support into mainstream classes 6. monitoring and collecting evidence of students’ skills using a range of procedures 7. ensuring whole school support for the program and for literacy improvement and 8. allocating a warm, inviting room for withdrawal sessions. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of contextualized learning activity sheets (LAS) in improving the proficiency level of Grade 7 science students in San Vicente II National High School. Ten students who performed poorly in science based on their third quarter grades were given a pre-test before being provided with contextualized LAS. After one week of using the materials, the students took a post-test. The results of the pre-test and post-test were statistically analyzed to determine if there was a significant difference in test performance before and after the use of contextualized LAS.

This study examines how elementary education teacher candidates conceptualize STEM fields through interviews. It finds that candidates have some discomfort with STEM subjects in their thoughts, feelings, and attitudes. The study aims to understand candidates' knowledge and perceptions of STEM to inform curriculum design for teacher preparation programs. It uses a conceptual framework of affective, cognitive, and behavioral components and finds limited understanding of STEM field interconnectivity among candidates. The implications are that teacher preparation programs should consider students' attitudes and further develop STEM education preparation since it is an growing expectation for teachers.
Thesis chapter 1
1) This study examines the level of effectiveness of social studies teachers in teaching at Bataan National High School for the 2012-2013 school year. It aims to determine how teacher characteristics, student characteristics, and school facilities affect teacher effectiveness.
2) The study surveyed 22 social studies teachers and their students. It assessed teacher effectiveness using a performance appraisal and examined relationships between teacher effectiveness and other factors.
3) The results of this study could help teachers identify strengths and weaknesses, help students and administrators evaluate the curriculum and teaching methods, and provide a basis for future research on social studies teacher effectiveness.
Perceived stress among international students at Dibrugarh University
This document presents a study on the perceived stress levels of international students at Dibrugarh University in India. The study aimed to assess stress levels in relation to students' level of educational affiliation (undergraduate, postgraduate, research scholar). A perceived stress scale was administered to 20 international students. Results found most students reported average stress levels, with new students reporting higher stress. Statistical analysis found no significant difference in stress levels between educational affiliation levels. The study provides recommendations to help reduce stress for international students.

Problem solving is a complex cognitive process that is important for developing critical thinking skills. This study aims to assess the attitudes of freshmen students towards problem solving by determining their socio-demographic profile and attitudes, and identifying negative attitudes. The participants were freshmen students at Southern Christian College who completed a questionnaire on problem solving attitudes. The findings will help educators develop strategies to improve students' problem-solving skills.

Our education mainly stresses to develop cognitive aspect which deals with knowledge and to some extent develop cognitive aspect which deals with motor skills. The affective aspect which deals with emotions, feelings and sentiments of the child is totally neglected by our Education. For developing the child emotionally and socially mature, only formal education is not enough but informal education which the child gets from his family and society is also needed. In the past years, there has been extensive research on various approaches of teaching in secondary education. But no one method or approach has been found consistently superior to all. It reveals the fact that no single approach can be best suited to all the students. The most important question is to determine which students achieve more and under what conditions and also the factors which affect the achievement. An emerging area of research that holds promise in helping us to answer these questions is student's level of general mental ability in anxiety and emotional adjustment. Researchers and educationists are now attempting a thorough work in the area of general anxiety and emotional adjustment and found it a very potential one in influencing the student's academic achievement. Advocating School Intervention Program among Junior High Students
The research was conducted at Matab ang National High School Toledo City Division -Region VII as a bases for an action plan for “Advocating School Intervention Program among Junior High students in Matab ang National High School, Matab ang Toledo City Cebu and the Scheme of Implementation of the Student’s Intervention Program of Matab ang National High School and evaluated on the level of students intervention program implementation in terms of Therapy Programs, Intervention Team Approaches, Supplemental Programs, Community Home School Partnership Programs and Whole School Reform Programs. Descriptive method was used. Questionnaires were given to 10 teachers and 240 students for evaluation. Gathered data were treated using total weighted points, weighted mean, and t test. Based on the findings and after a careful analysis and interpretation of the study, it is concluded that the ““Advocating School Intervention Program among Junior High in Matab ang National High School, Matab ang Toledo City Cebu and the Scheme of Implementation of the Student’s Intervention Program of Matab ang National High School”. It was recommended that this study has identified the following key aspects of intervention for improving the literacy skills of students 1. promoting positive relationships between teacher and students by providing a designated teacher for intervention 2. providing at least three to five sessions of explicit intensive instruction per week 3. using experienced literacy teachers to facilitate the intervention 4. maintaining flexibility within the program to address changes in individual students’ interests and needs 5. working with other teachers to extend support into mainstream classes 6. monitoring and collecting evidence of students’ skills using a range of procedures 7. ensuring whole school support for the program and for literacy improvement and 8. allocating a warm, inviting room for withdrawal sessions. - 3. INTRODUCTION School education is a very important part in an individual’s life and is also a turning point in their academic life. At this stage, the academic performance of a students plays a vital role in deciding the next stage of their education, which in turn shapes their career. Students nowadays especially those who are aiming to maintain high grades that will be their gateway to have scholarship when they enter higher level are having stress and coping with it almost every day. Stress usually starts when the students feel the pressure among their parents, relatives, friends and even with classmates. An excess of academic stress during this stage can result in adverse effects that are far-reaching and prolonged.
- 4. Coping is how the person deals effectively with something difficult that he or she encounters . It is how the person manages his or her life conditions that are stressful. At some extent, stress and coping are relatively connected with each other.
- 6. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM This study aimed to determine the level of academic stress and coping strategies of Grade 12 STEM students in Isulan National High School school year 2021-2022 basis for an action plan.
- 7. METHODOLOGY RESEARCH DESIGN To attain the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive method of research.
