This document describes a project for K-2 English Language Learner students that integrates science and language arts about weather and seasons. Students will learn about weather patterns in different seasons through videos and descriptions. They will then work in groups to create their own weather reports by taking on roles like weather announcer, camera person, and map person. The project provides opportunities for students to further develop vocabulary and demonstrate their understanding through writing, drawing, and presenting their weather reports.

This assignment includes a power point that is embedded with Discovery Education videos on the seasons and an explanation of the weather forecasting assignment. The time frame is flexible and extensions to the basic assignment are included .
