This report summarizes a student project on designing a bending machine for curved DSL systems. The student, Karunakaran Ashokar, completed the project from May 9th to June 30th 2011 under the guidance of Silverline Metal Engineering Pvt. Ltd. as part of his Masters of Management Studies program at Gurunanak Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai. The project involved designing a machine to bend materials into curved shapes for digital subscriber line systems.

Zarządzanie niezbędnymi parametrami istotnymi dla właściwego raportowania prac wewnątrz i poza zakładem pracy w jednym wspólnym zbiorze;

In today’s worldwide competitive business environment, effective investment planning and partner selection is one of the key issues for companies which are planning investment in abroad. The purpose of study is to propose a selection system, will provide a comprehensive approach for selecting the best GSM operator for Call Center, is selling GSM operator’s prepaid minutes, investment. For this purpose, a literature review is performed about GSM. Then, extensive interviews have been carried out with authorized experts, and qualitative and quantitative decision factors have been defined for alternative regions, countries and GSM operators, which have been evaluated by using AHP respectively. Finally, by using developed evaluation formula, each alternative has been evaluated and, the best alternative GSM operator has been selected by using Goal Programming to investment, raw material cost, labor cost, profit and market share goals. In the conclusion of our study, the results have been discussed in detail and the future work is presented as well.

PREPARATION OF CONCRETE USING MANGALORE TILESSinan Vk
Due to the day by day innovations and development in the construction field, the use of natural aggregates is very high and at the same time production of solid wastes from the demolitions of constructions is also very high. Because of these reasons the reuse of demolished constructional wastes came into the picture to reduce the solid waste and to reduce the scarcity of natural aggregates. Crushed waste Mangalore tiles are used as a replacement to the coarse aggregates. The waste crushed tiles were replaced in place of coarse aggregates by 100% without changing the mix design. M20 grade of concrete was designed to prepare the conventional mix. An experimental investigation like Compressive strength test and Water absorption test for concrete mixes with hundred percentages of waste crushed after 7, 14 and 28 days curing period. Variations in the workability for these different mixes were studied and observed that, an increase in the percentage of replacement of crushed Mangalore tiles.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
