28. Critical Questions Is it possible to have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and for your life to show little or no fruit of that relationship? Does the absence of good works necessarily imply the absence of saving faith?

29. Critical Questions Does that mean that you can be a Christian, with your eternal home in heaven secure, and live a sinful lifestyle without fear of consequences?

30. Application/Challenge Maintain a vital, dynamic faith by being a “doer” of God’s Word. Realize that intimacy with God is a byproduct of obedience. Look to Christ for assurance of salvation, not to your works.
