- organized into 12 regions, by human services coordinated transportation plan lead
agency
- Each agency has a designated mobility manager (most without the title of mobility
manager), taking the lead on mobility management activities throughout their region
- Housed at COGs and MPOs
- Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) has mobility manager on
staff, with 4 sub-regional mobility managers covered under MAG’s 5310
funding
- act as community liaisons – representatives of non-profit service providers
- all with different backgrounds, from different organizations
- meet monthly, act as a sounding board and know their communities well
- can bring the real-life situations, experiences, and resources to MAG to help MAG

coordinate with the local transit agency
- Iowa DOT requires a coordinated passenger transportation plan from all
areas of the state, regardless of 5310 use

coordinators and associated staff around the state
