This document outlines an agenda for discussing an iSchool program in the Granite School District. It will cover what the iSchool program is, the benefits of the iSchool program at Kearns High School, policies around lost or damaged iPod Touches, how students and teachers will communicate using the devices, whether projects can be created on the iPods, how apps can engage students, potential uses for assessment and professional development, options for textbooks and e-readers, and recommendations for useful and fun apps to try on the iPods. Hands-on time with the iPods is also included on the agenda.
This document proposes using advanced technologies and tools to improve education in rural Indian schools. It identifies problems in the current rural education system like a lack of quality education materials, expert guidance, and exposure to modern trends. The document recommends virtualization technologies to provide shared educational resources, cloud computing to deliver software and online courses, and Moodle tools to enable interactive learning and direction. These technologies could help solve problems in rural education by providing communication with experts and high-quality educational materials.
The document provides guidelines for creating a safe school building environment. It lists several considerations to ensure physical safety, including adequate lighting, limiting blind spots, installing alarm systems, restricting roof and grounds access, conducting background checks on employees, and removing graffiti promptly. School design standards are also outlined, such as using DepEd standard designs, prioritizing projects based on population and classroom needs, and ensuring DPWH follows specifications for complete building construction.
70% of Transformational Change programmes fail. 68% of IT projects fail. Most of what we are working on will never succeed. How can we prevent this huge waste of resources. This deck explores the role of innovation labs in early stage testing and fast failure..

Plants as producers perform the process of photosynthesis. Chlorophyll is the molecule – key to photosynthesis. What happens on a planet without enough light? Why the leaves of plants, are green? Are they green on any other planet? To answer all these questions we studied the chlorophyll. With the spectroscope we saw that absorbs red and blue, and reflects the green. With a clever experiment – game showed why the sky on Earth is blue and we associated this fact with the behavior of chlorophyll. We studied the growth of plants under radiation of different wavelengths, as well as in conditions of limited or poor lighting
Do you believe in ghosts? What actually are ghosts? “Creatures” that do not exist but we can see them. Are there any such “creatures” around us? Let’s have a look at the night starry sky. We can see all these stars, but many of them are not existing any more. Light speed has an upper limit but all these stars can be hundreds or thousands light years away. We can only “see” what “light” brings to us, but the light source can already be destroyed while the ‘light” is traveling to us. We ask students to think about all these amazing phenomena. Then we use the “Faulkes Telescope Project” to observe some stars, nebulas and galaxies. We search for their distance from the Earth and we go back to earth history. A star 2000 light years away has send it’s light to us when Christ was born! Maybe we are just observing the star’s ghost.

How to Fix the Import Error in the Odoo 17Celine George
An import error occurs when a program fails to import a module or library, disrupting its execution. In languages like Python, this issue arises when the specified module cannot be found or accessed, hindering the program's functionality. Resolving import errors is crucial for maintaining smooth software operation and uninterrupted development processes.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
Assessment and Planning in Educational technology.pptxKavitha Krishnan
In an education system, it is understood that assessment is only for the students, but on the other hand, the Assessment of teachers is also an important aspect of the education system that ensures teachers are providing high-quality instruction to students. The assessment process can be used to provide feedback and support for professional development, to inform decisions about teacher retention or promotion, or to evaluate teacher effectiveness for accountability purposes.
