First,I will startwithoriginal projectsIhave createdfordifferentaspectsof mediasome in
collaborationwithmypeersatuniversityorcollege.Iproduceda fifteen-minute shortfilmwitha
groupof people calledIsolation.Thisprojecttookalot of planningandtime tocreate a narrative
that will alsohelpshowourcreativityinthe technical sideaswell.We were eachtaskedtoa specific
role so forexample Iwastaskedwithbeingthe soundengineerandcoscriptwriter.Idida lotof
researchon whatparticularsoundwe shoulduse forour filmaswell learnedandtestedall sound
equipmentfromthe AV store thatwouldbestfitourproduction.Ialsodidmostof the post-
productionandfinalizingthe movie.Thishelpedme boostmytechnical skillsalot,asI learned
variousfilmequipmentthatI neverusedbefore suchasthe audioadapter,microphones,andsuch.
Thishas helpedme understandthe industrymore hasmostprojectsandjobsinthe industryinvolve
producingandfilmingmediatextsandunderstandinghow touse certainequipmentwill make me
employableasthe equipmentIlearned tohandle can be usedinradio,journalismandother
recordingproductions.Ialsodidindependentresearchonthe processof productiononhow to
create a narrative andlookedatmanyexamples settingupmeetingregularwithmycollaborators,I
thinkthisshowsmyinitiativeandabilitytoassessthingsindependentlybutalsoworkingwith
others.I thinkthisa valuable skill tohave asmostjobsin the industrya collaborativewithothersbut
alsodependentonthe persongettingthe jobdone.Ilearned how tooperate accordingly ina
professionalmedialike environment,whichIthink, makesme employable forthisparticular
industry. ReflectingonthisprojectIwouldalsowishIhadenteredourshortfilminthe filmfestival
contestevenif ourfilmwasnot greatcomparedto others.Thiswouldof gave me and my peersan
