This is in response to a request for a letter of recommendation for Ben Nielsen, who
worked with me up until recently.
Ben Nielsen worked with me at Cars.com for a period of three years. During that
period, I had the great pleasure of seeing him blossom from a rookie marketing
trainee at the beginning, into a fully functioning Marketing Field Sales Manager, in
his years with the company.
Ben is a hard-working self-starter who invariably understands exactly what a
project is all about from the outset, and how to get it done quickly and effectively.
During his three years in the Field Sales Manager position, I cannot remember an
instance in which he missed a major deadline or failed to meet our goal.
Mr. Nielsen is a resourceful, creative, and solution-oriented person who was
frequently able to come up with new and innovative approaches to his assigned
projects. He functioned well with our team, and worked effectively as a team
member under the direction of management.
On the interpersonal side, Ben gets along extremely well with team members and
supervision. He is highly respected, as both a person and a professional, by
colleagues, management and customers alike.
