Red Square is located in Moscow and is the heart of the city. It is famous for several landmark buildings located there, including St. Basil's Cathedral, the Mausoleum, the State History Museum, and GUM. One notable feature is the Spaskaya Tower, the tallest tower of the Kremlin that faces Red Square. Major national holidays and military parades are held in Red Square.
