This document discusses rebooting and transforming public administration through new approaches and technologies. It argues that public administration needs to become more citizen-oriented, open, collaborative, global, multidisciplinary, and focused on concrete experimentation and innovation. However, the reality is that public administration tends to be risk-averse and focused on short-term goals. Technologies provide opportunities but also require new skills and methods like co-creation, service design thinking, and communication to drive transformation. Case studies and lessons learned emphasize fueling experimentation, finding sponsors, co-creating with citizens, and adopting an iterative approach.
