Ray Bradbury was an American author born in 1920 known for works of science fiction and fantasy. Some of his most notable works include Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, and Something Wicked This Way Comes. He had a prolific writing career from a young age and received many honors including the National Medal of Arts and a special Pulitzer Prize citation. Bradbury was passionate about writing throughout his life until his death in 2012 at the age of 91.
