The elderly male patient is experiencing leg pain due to Paget's disease affecting his femur. Radiology findings include cortical thickening, trabecular thickening, and increased bone size. There is also an incomplete fracture present. Paget's disease leads to pathological changes in bone including a destructive or active phase, combined destructive and proliferative phase, and final sclerotic phase, usually beginning at one end of the bone. Complications can include fractures or sarcoma.
