My questionnaire was handed out to people to fill in and I had 11 boys who filled it in and 9 girls. It
would have been more accurate and fairer if I had had an equal number of each as my magazine is
targeted at both.

2. One of the questions on my questionnaire was what the person’s favourite colour is. I chose this
question to help me decide what colour scheme I am going to have throughout my magazine and to
find out what colours are popular. The results have shown that I should go for either green or purple
because they are more popular than orange or pink who only one person I had asked likes.

I asked people how much they usually pay for magazines they buy so I could figure out a reasonable
price I can put my magazine for sale at. The most popular price range was between £2.50-£3,
therefore I think I am going to price my magazine somewhere in-between that price range.

The people I have asked to fill out my questionnaire are mainly in the age range 15-16. As the target
audience for my magazine is 15-20 this isn’t very representative because I only have one persons
view who is either 19 or 20.
How often do you buy music magazines at the moment?

never
I asked this to find out how often people like to buy music magazines so I can decide if there would
be much point in publishing my magazine weekly or monthly or just rarely, from the results of this
question I will probably publish my magazine monthly.

I asked this question to find out what is the most popular music magazine to read at the moment
and what type of magazine I should produce which is going to sell easily and people will enjoy
reading.

With the answers to this I got quite a few different answers, I wanted to see who the most popular
bands and singers out there are. I wanted to know this so I can decide who I want to feature in my
magazine and who the audience would like to see featured in my magazine.
