12. What will you change based upon
these results?
Our group conducted our questionnaire before we filmed out thriller so we
would have an idea of what the general public enjoy about thrillers. We made
sure to consider all the results in order to make our opening as appealing as
possible. Out of all the findings, we particularly worked on ways to promote
our opening and delved into creating fake news reports, behind the scenes
footage, posters and teaser trailers-which is explored in depth on a separate
blog post. Luckily, some of the highest answers we received already
correlated in what we planned to include in our thriller, especially the
character of a psycho, the horror sub-genre and suspense. We found that
music was highly regarded as important, therefore experimented an explored
different music to over lay our footage to convey a tense atmosphere. In
finding out how important a plot is and how important it is to avoid a generic
plot twist is, we established a storyline that confused yet interested the
viewer.
