SURVEY MONKEY
RESULTS
I asked a range of people of different ages
(mainly students and young adults) questions
that will help me identify what consumers look
for in a music magazine
Survey Monkey Questionnaire Results

Just under 25% of the people who answered my Survey Monkey
Questionnaire were male, with the remaining % being female
Survey Monkey Questionnaire Results

The majority of the
people who
answered my
Survey Monkey
questionnaire were
of the age 15-24.
The results of the
questionnaire
should be quite
relevant to me as
my target audience
is consumers of the
ages 15-24
Survey Monkey Questionnaire Results

The results indicate that most
people are intrigued by the Main
Image of the front cover. The
Masthead and Colour are the next
most visible things, followed lastly
by the Stories and the Logo. To
me, it is a surprise that the Logo
didn’t get more votes, as it is the
brand of the magazine. It is no
surprise that the Main Image got the
most votes, as it is usually the
biggest convention on the page.
Survey Monkey Questionnaire Results

It’s no surprise that Pop music is
the most popular, as the majority
of the people who answered the
questionnaire are between ages
15-24. It’s a surprise that Dubstep
isn’t popular at all, with it being
really popular in the charts at the
moment.
Survey Monkey Questionnaire Results

Most people would most
like to have a Freebee
with the magazine, then
other extras. It seems
that consumers wouldn’t
like downloads, which is
a surprise considering
people aren’t buying CDs
and downloading more.
Survey Monkey Questionnaire Results

Over 50% of people
would pay £2-£3 for a
good quality music
magazine. A low amount
of people would pay £5+
but as my magazine is a
brand new one, I won’t
be pricing the magazine
this high
Survey Monkey Questionnaire Results

The majority of people who
answered the questionnaire
would prefer magazines to
come out Monthly. This is
usually the most popular
choice by current successful
music magazines competing
in the market, so I will most
likely choose to issue my
magazine every month
Survey Monkey Questionnaire Results

Yet again, people would like
to see a Freebee with a
magazine. Having a certain
celebrity on a magazine also
influences people to buy a
magazine. It seems no one
that answered the
questionnaire would buy it for
the competition

purchase my magazine and how their results would differ from other results
