Farheen Begum used various media technologies at different stages of her group project. She used Blogger to upload research, draft ideas, and receive teacher feedback. Final Cut Pro was used to edit video clips and add effects to create a music video and blooper reel. Photo Booth allowed her to easily create videos for reflection blogs and take group photos. Twitter and Instagram kept teachers updated and gathered audience feedback. Cameras, memory cards, and phones captured footage and photos for the project and ancillary materials. The internet provided research sources like YouTube and Photoshop enabled basic photo editing.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)

1. QUESTION THREE
How did you use media technologies in the
construction and research, planning and
evaluation stages.
By Farheen Begum, Group 2
2. What is media technologies?
Electronic and digital equipment for example computers,
cameras and digital projectors.
3. BLOGGER
Where do i begin with blogger?? Bloggers where it all started and took
place. Whenever i did any bit of research i had to upload it on to
blogger to show my teachers and for myself. Its easy to upload
pictures and videos on to blogger and doesn't take too long. I also
embedded links from prezi and Photobucket and other forms of
technology on to blogger as it was easy to view. Another great thing is
that its all in order from date so its convenient to see my progress and
any draft ideas i had.
4. Final Cut Pro
Final cut pro was something i felt semi-confident using because we used it
a lot last year to edit the thriller. Although this year we experimented
loads with texts, special effects and video transitions in order to make our
music video look more professional and realistic. We used colour
picker because we couldn't find the right shade of the colour white to use
behind our four split screens. Obviously we used Final Cut Pro to put the
clips of our music video together to make a final product. We did this on
the Apple macs rather than windows movie maker as not everyone in the
group had heard of that. I also used Final Cut Pro to make a blooper reel
from when we were our filming, so for post production, i experimented
loads with the transitions and special effects to see what worked well and
what didn't.
5. Photo Booth
Although its called photo booth, its also possible to make
videos on photo booth and that's what i did. I made videos for
'reflection of progress' blogs as its easier to do it straight on
to the mac rather than with the flip camera. As a group we
also took some group pictures to show costume and to
discuss ideas for planning and production so we found it quick
and convenient to use (we also played around with some of the
silly effects).
6. Twitter and Instagram
• We made a twitter and instagram page to keep our
teachers updated on our progress and to keep a timeline of
our journey. I also used Twitter for feedback and planning
as I asked our target audience what they like in a music
video and after the video was completed, what they liked
about the video and what they thought could be improved.
Instagram was also a place where we could filter our
photos that we could have potentially used for our ancillary
pack.
7. Cameras and Memory Cards
• Without the camera and memory cards we wouldn’t have been able to make any
of the media products, We had to use the camera to film EVERYTHING. And a
memory card to save EVERYTHING .They were essential for production and
feedback purposes as we filmed on the JVC cameras and took behind the scene
pictures with your average still camera. With the professional camera from
photography we used it to take pictures for our ancillary work where the
outcome was strong and successful as we had hundreds of pictures that we
were proud off.
8. Internet
• I used the internet almost every hour of the day except for
when I’m sleeping and in media you’ll find me on the
internet the whole lesson. This is because the internet is
essential for research because it’s a place where we found
YouTube videos which enabled us to look at music videos
and video tutorials to new functions for final cut pro. We
used the internet to research synergy for our ancillary
ideas and made them come to life
9. iPhones and phones and flip camera
• Just in case we didn’t have access to any of the
professional cameras we used our phones to take pictures
or record feedback. I also used my phone for several
things, to use instagram and twitter and for planning
purposes as I had access to blogger to draft my ideas
10. Photoshop
• I didn’t use Photoshop to its full potential because I wasn’t
sure how to use it as well as some others. However I did
use Photoshop to produce or construct my ancillary work
where we adjusted the brightness, added text as well as
pictures, logos and barcodes. Which enabled us to make our
work look professional and real.
11. • That’s all from me however there are several other
technologies that I have used in terms of production and
evaluation questions for example
• PhotoBucket
• Kioza
• Prezi
• SlideShare
• Gif
• Go Animate
