Planning and preparation is important for any project. The author struggled with ideas for their magazine because they did not do enough research and planning upfront. They used research during the creation but it was not enough. Time management is also key - the author waited until the last week to work and should have started earlier. The biggest lessons were to stick to a timeline and not leave everything until the deadline, and to gain experience using software like Photoshop and InDesign.

2. Planning and Preparation
Planning and preparation is a vital part of any
project. During my research and planning I don’t
think that I did enough which left me struggling
for ideas when creating my magazine. I used the
research I did a lot during my creating of the
magazine, using colour schemes and writing
types from popular magazines

• This is important because if you don’t have
enough quality planning or research you cant
create the ideas to make a professional
looking magazine. Not only is a lot of research
and planning needed but the planning needs
to also be one of high quality to give you ideas
on how to create the magazine like guidelines.

4. Organisation of time
• Organisation of time is key in the making of a
project. I think my organisation could have
been better because I waited until the last
week to really start to work and complete
work. I made a time plan to keep on track with
my making of the magazine. Using dates to try
and keep in time and on schedule.

5. Technical photography
• The skills I have gained from taking photos I
have gained experience with using angles to
make the photo look better the use of lighting
to make peoples complexions better and the
picture looks more professional.

6. The biggest thing I have learnt during this media
magazine project is the ability to keep to a time
plan and to not leave everything to the last
minute before trying to finish especially with
deadlines. Also how to successfully use
professional software's such as Photoshop and
Indesign.

7. My Targets have improved since the preliminary
project and my confidence using new
technology has grown significantly throughout
the project.
