The student followed their original plan for a magazine project fairly well but realized some elements took longer or shorter than expected, such as spending more time on the questionnaire and magazine analysis than making magazine elements. The plan also did not account for work done outside lessons. To improve, the student would refer to the plan throughout the project to stay on track, but is not sure this would have improved the project as time management was not a struggle.

3. How Well Did I Follow My Plan? I followed my plan pretty well but now realise different elements took longer or shorter than expected. For example, I spent more time on my questionnaire and my magazine analysis than I did on making the different elements of my magazine. The plan also doesn’t take into consideration the work I did outside of my lessons. To improve in the future, I would try and refer to my plan throughout the project to make sure I was keeping to it, but feel this would not necessarily improve my project, as I did not struggle with my time keeping without it.
